(Most of my ocs were tomboys when they were in high school so it's good- and I haven't drawn Dave yet but he is like your natural bad boy that wears a cap and bla bla-)
Dave looked at her, he had a umbrella in his hands and he walked over.
Dakota: she was listening to music, so she didn't notice him yet*
"Your welcome." He said as his ears pinned against his head under his cap.

Catty went on a walk in the rain. She scrolled through her phone, browsing twitter. Catty glances up and sees Dakota, taking note of how soaked and uncomfortable she seemed.
"Well, no harm in sharing..." Catty mumbles, glancing up at her umbrella.
(roleplays can be about friends too! and this one happens to be just that. or not, if you dont wanna- i wont be offended lmao)
She stands next to Dakota, shifting her umbrella to her other hand so it covers both of them. She keeps scrolling through her phone.
"Wasn't going anywhere, anyways... ah well," she mumbles to herself.

Dakota: she looked up at her and smiled, taking of her headphones*

"You looked a little uncomfortable, and I had to help! WHats your name, bud? I'm catty!
AT this point, catty holds out a paw for Dakota to shake. She holds her phone in the same hand as the umbrella, fumbling for a second, before regaining sure handling and not breaking her relaxed, care-free grin.
(I always type in paragraphs, it stems from my fanfiction writing lmao. And yeah, I meant like not all roleplays are around romance, some can just be about becoming friends or something lol. THats why I didn't use one of my guy characters)
She smiled happily and shook Catty's paw. "Hi, thanks, i guess i was getting cold hehe. Well, nice to meet you too, my name's Dakota"

Catty looked Dakota up and down.
"I really like your outfit! But it doesn't look warm enough- oh!"
Catty takes off her scarf and wraps it around Dakota's neck.
"There! It goes well with your other clothes, in my opinion. So, what brings you out here?"
Catty scrolls through Twitter absent-mindedly, leaning against the [wall/streetlight- i don't know where the setting is lmao]
Dakota smiled warmly "thank you again-" she then paused for a bit " well, im trying to clear my mind off some stuffs, you?"

catty shrugs.
"I love walking in the rain. It's calming."
Catty looks around.
"Are you doing ok? You seemed pretty... Out of reality, I guess. Got anywhere to go?"
Catty scratched her neck, messing with the strap of her tank top. She usually messed with her scarf, but yknow.
She nodded*
"Walking in the rain's calming, and yeah..i have a home, tho that's the last place i wanna go at right now"
Catty blinked. That wasn't the answer she was expecting.
"Well, uh, you can come back to my apartment if you wanna get out of the rain? I think I have an extra room. Or if that's too weird, I can always get you a hotel room or somethin'- I don't mind."
Catty turns her phone off, wanting to preserve battery in case she needed it later.
"I have food and stuff if you're hungry. Wait, i just realized how much of a creep i sound- sorry!"
Catty looks anywhere but Dakota.
Dakota shook her head " no no- i'd be happy to stay in your apartment " she said with a sweet smile
"Oh- okay!"
Catty smiled, turning the way she came.
"Here, follow me! It's only a few minutes away."
Catty hummed to herself, walking in the direction of her apartment.
(sorry if im slow to reply, im multi-tasking and writing a story too so ehh)

She nodded and followed her "i can't thank you enough-"
Catty smiles and shakes her head.
"Really, it's no problem! Helping people is, like, my favorite thing to do. Plus, it's kinda lonely at home, so..."
Catty stares blankly into the distance, humming at random to herself.
"What song were you listening to?"
