K so, this is an au where everything goes to shit. Where, when Migraine and Amira finally reach the center of the Upper Sector, they're captured and unable to immediately escape. Instead of being given the choice to lead an expedition into the Fringe, Amira is put in line to be executed, while Migraine is given the choice to help the council. The council's offer is that Migraine stays here with them, helps them uncover where other HARPs are hiding. They get this option for multiple reasons, but the main one is because Migraine's father is high up on the council and offered to donate lots of money to have them kept alive. Migraine also decided to do it because of the promise of a chance to have normal relationship with their father.
Some background ON THAT. Basically, Migraine's mom left when they were two. Their dad is a very high and respected businessman, and pretty much Migraine's entire life, he wasn't there for them. Migraine developed a more... rebellious attitude. They did stuff tha

Link-t would've really damaged their dad's reputation. They developed bipolar disorder, which added to the pile of crap they had to deal with. After that their dad pretty much hid them from society. The only way he ever let them interact with people public was if they were super high on drugs because he was so paranoid that someone would find out that his kid wasn't average Upper Sectorian material. When they came out as trans nonbinary, their dad kicked them out. It was for more reasons than just that, but it's a lot to go into.

LinkMigraine doesn't hate their dad, they really wish they could've had a normal childhood and they hope to live that with him. Of course though, one of the actual reasons the council kept them around, is because Migraine has an interesting power. They can give people intense pains in their head, like crippling, by touching the opponent's fore head or temple. The council wants to run tests on Migraine and figure out more about HARPs. Migraine's father is willing to pay for their up keep too so that's a plus.

LinkMigraine and Amira are in a relationship, so obviously, she absolutely crushed by this. She angry that they'd abandon her, the mission, betray everyone, all of that bad stuff. She screaming at them throughout the whole this because she's really crushed.
Then we have Forkie (the green one), who was Migraine's main mentor when they moved to the Lower Sector. She's very close with them, she's like a mom to them. I imagine that she'd be disappointed and angry and confused. At first she'd be crushed. She probably cried a lot in private, but she puts on an intimidating face to confront them.

LinkKoko (the brown one) is more emotional than Forkie, but has a similar relationship with Migraine. She was really good friends with Migraine and has such an overwhelming amount of feeling over this. She is violently angry at them, she wants them to know how many people their mistake cost people. How many lives are going to be lost. How much the rebellion is suffering. She doesn't believe that the Migraine she used to know exists anymore. It's just the traitor that she loves now.
