Puzzle: *walking around boredly* Vague: *Trying to male a flower wilt by looking as it as he'd seen Secret do may times* Grr, Why is it so easy for her? *looks away and pouts, narrowing his one flickering eye* Puzzle: *Rolls eye* Calm yourself, you'll get there. *sighs*

(Setting? Back at the forest or somewhere else, I don't mind?) Puzzle: *Yawns before scanning the tree line for any movement*

Vague: *stares intently at flower, growling and flickering his eye* Puzzle: Leave it will you?! I agreed to come back here because I was curious about the runes not because I wanted to help you kill stuff. Vague: Oh yea, you sure are HeLpInG me aren't you? Puzzle: *groans* That's my point...

*yeah

Vague: *runs up to Puzzle* Fine! We'll go an' check out the runes, that'l make you nice and happy huh? Puzzle: *eye quickly flickers yellow* You're the one that found them in the first place!

Puzzle: *turns to see Poppy* gaAH! Don't sneak up on us! *eye goes back to it's original shade* Vague: It's nothing... *Sighs and looks around* We're just trying to work out where the runes we found yesterday are. We both talked to Secret about it but she didn't recognise the verses so we came back here. *side eyes Puzzle while continuing to talk to Poppy* Glad you came... Puzzle: Yeah... Maybe you could help us? Unless you wanna do something different in which cae that's fine! *runs out of breath quickly as his eye darts to the ground*

Puzzle: *tail wavers awkwardly* Thanks. Vague: *Manages to hold in a laugh before smiling brightly* Whelp! *raises head* Should we set off?

Puzzle: *follows after her, scanning around for the large rock* Where is it... Vague: It was further ahead, don't worry. *nudges his brother along*

Vague: *raises head to look at the jagged rock, one side entirely smooth and decorated with runes and writing in strange patterns. Nods back to Poppy* That's it. Now there was a path leading from it, pretty sure... Puzzle: Mhm. *motions with his tail ahead of the rock*

Puzzle: *walks around the rock carefully as if someone was about to jump out* Vague: *follows him and grins* There. *nods to an almost hidden pathway leading out from behind the rock, littered with dead leaves and wilting ferns (trust, me I can write better than this XD), mist creeping around the upturned roots of plants and rocks* Geez, it hasn't been THAT long since we were here. Puzzle: The runes suggested some sort of alternate world... *remembering the rock behind them* Other place, bright, window-- Strange. Vague: That's one way of putting it.

Puzzle: Alternate worlds aren't rare at all, really. Depends on the one you're thinking of. Vague: And those worlds colliding, though slightly rarer, does happen every so often. Very beautiful to watch unless you're actually there. Puzzle: *slowly walks along the path, looking behind the group every few seconds to check the path is still the same*

Puzzle: I- I don't know. Vague: *stepping closer to the two* We didn't plan this far, surprisingly, we thought the path might be a bit more - uh - nice. *flinches as the ferns russel slightly, but only in the breeze that carries along the fog* Puzzle: *Hesitates* Should we continue? Vague: *swallows* Risk missing a chance to visit an alternate universe? Never! *trots several feet in front of them*

Puzzle: *sighs and follows them both* Vague, do you think these worlds could be colliding? Ours and... this place? *looks up at the leaves, dead and falling yet still blocking out the sunlight or moon, the time was impossible to tell here* Vague: Maybe. It would be much. Louder. *paws the ground and glances at Poppy* Do you know anything about alternate worlds?

Vague: *flinches as a shadow darts through the long grass only two or three meters away, a second scuttling under the long dead ferns* Heh, At least we aren't alone. Puzzle: *pauses to look through a gap in the bushes, seeing nothing but darkness staring back at him* I don't think I'd like to live in this place.

(You can any time you want, just use a character or yourself)

*suddenly a dark shape screeched and soared down from the leaves, hovering just above the trios heads before rapidly shooting itself into a cluster of brambles* Puzzle: What the-- What was that?

Vague: Let's hope it was. Puzzle: *turns to see several more dark shapes, larger than the previous one, at least six or seven feet high, looming close to the trees watching them. Some were covered in feathers, others in thick hair though it was impossible to make out their facial features if they had any* Let's also hope they didn't mean any harm. *steps closer to Poppy, eye flickering yellow* Vague: *eye flickers turquoise*

(we're in a creepy alternate universe, a dark forest. ...That's pretty much it.)

:( No, now I feel bad... You can either r.p when you have time or we can wait for you?

Yep, it is. Basically a really dark, creepy forest with lots of dead plants and the sun doesn't show through the dark leaves. There are also strange creatures following us.

Puzzle: *Looks around at the creatures, his fur rising slightly as he quickly glances back at Poppy* *Without warning, one of the creatures lashed out, swinging a dirty, ripped paw at the three, it's face dripping with what was either saliva or mud, they couldn't tell. A second animal, a amphibian of some sort, leaped at Vague and opened it's long mouth revealing four rows of pointed, green teeth* Vague: *struggles to kick the monster away* GAH WHAT THE-- *finally manages to push the creature away, but not before two small reptile-like creatures launch themselves at the young demon*

Puzzle: *groans as an animal dripping with yellow bile snaps the air infront of him* We need to get back, now! Vague: Thanks, Poppy and, Puzzle, I think that was obvious! *headbuts the huge, furry paw of the first one to attack then backs away quickly as a guttural growl escaped it's throat* Lets go! (sorry this sounds like back fanfiction, I'm doing this quickly)

Puzzle: *runs close behind her, kicking at smaller critters than scuttled quickly after then* Hurry! Vague: *sprints towards his brother whilst fending off another insect of some kind* The rocks dead ahead!

Vague: *leaps up and over the rock, rolling in the lighter grass and panting* Puzzle: *shrugs off a reptile clinging to his shoulders before collapsing on the ground near his brother, eye still yellow along with his fangs that had appeared at some point during the fight*

Vague: *with his eye closed* Yeah... Can't understand how those runes linked to the other world; bright, windows-- it makes no sense. Puzzle: Maybe- *pants* Maybe it used to be like that. And windows could reference a link between two worlds. *looks up at Poppy* You okay?

(If you really want to... But I'd like you to stay...)

(Just because your character hasn't appeared much doesn't mean they're not important! And they can get to know the characters if they speak to them, they don't have to be there since the start...)

(They don't have to have the ability to talk... Many people have characters who can't.)

(They sound like an interesting character to me ^u^) Puzzle: *nods then looks back at the stone* What now? Vague: *eyes still closed*... *sighs* I don't know. Puzzle: *looks back up at Poppy* ...

Vague: *chuckles* Would've thought that would be obvious-- Argh! *hides the right side of his face *the one with his eye* and groans in pain* Puzzle: *looks at him sadly, blinking* We'll get mom to check that out.

Puzzle: *looks at the jar*

Vague: *opens eye, revealing that it's pupil is switching between blinding white and bright turquoise* Guess some of me was left behind in there... *laughs weakly* Puzzle: *eye widens in concern* We- we need to get him back to mom and dad... Sorry, Poppy! *Touches noses with her nervously before disappearing with Vague* (they (P and V) wont be gone for long, don't worry)

(ugh I keep taking too long to type sorry I missed out the jar bit)

(... Well Puzzle and Vague will disappear but only briefly then they both appear, Vague's eye now temporaraly closed, another one appearing on the left side of his face and then they both sort of the jar thing) Puzzle and vague: *both appear with the description above*

*Temporally

Vague: *rolls eye, now on the left side of his face* Yep. Puzzle: *mouths to Poppy: No he doesn't*

Puzzle: *jumps at the site of the duitine* Huh?

(okay, I'll be drawing stuff anyway)

(Yep) Puzzle: *eyes glance from the duotine to Poppy in confusion* Vague: *shuffles back slightly, closer to his brother and Poppy*

Puzzle: *backs away* Vague: *sniffs proudly* If you're not willing to then... *hesitantly tries one, widening his eyes in surprise*

Vague: *looks around, trying to see the others* Puzzle-- Poppy? Puzzle: *watching Vague as he seemed to think he was somewhere else* Vague?

Vague: *shakes his head* What-what is this?! What the heck!? Puzzle: *trying to get closer to his brother* Vague!? What's wrong? Vague: *panting heavily*

Puzzle: They're doing SOMETHING to him. *mutters* Vague, you idiot... Vague: *kicks at nothingness*

Vague: *finally relaxes and collapses next to Poppy, looking up at her with terrified eyes* Puzzle: *swallows nervously* Vague?

Vague: *whispers* Y-yes... *blinks and turns away quickly, before speaking in his normal voice* I'm fine. That place was... *stays silent*

(Tsundere Vague XD)

Vague: There was blood. It was so dark, so dark and... everyone was dead, or worse, dying, in the most horrific ways... Puzzle: It's okay just *glares at the pills* Don't touch them until we know what they are... Vague: *looks at Poppy slightly* I might need rest, yes. *turns back to Puzzle* But we need to find out what those pills are.

Vague: *stares at ferret creature* Luckily I didn't end up like 'em...

Vague: *nods* Mhm. Puzzle: That or maybe they somehow transport you, but only your mind, to another world or reality. Vague: ... Puzzle: Stranger things have happened.

(I keep posting comments too late UGH. Forget what I said. Or maybe they transport different people to different worlds? Idk)

Vague: *sighs and turns away, trying to ignore the two and think about the other reality* Puzzle: *inches closer to Poppy so Vague can't hear* Do you think we should take him to the Midnight Bridge to see dad? Or not... I can't decide... Vague: *pretends not to overhear*

(interesting idea)

Puzzle" *nods* Or Secret. She knows more about dark magic... *calls to Vague* Hey! We're taking you back to the Midnight Bridge to see dad, okay? Vague: *already disappears* Puzzle: *speaks hopefully* See you there?

Puzzle: *lets also take this jar along to show them.

*Scenery changes to the Midnight Bridge, a crowd of people slow-dancing along, children leaning over the rails and even a few dogs weaving between the people's legs. Mystery sits on one of the rails, watching as the trio walk over* Vague: Crowded, much? Mystery: Mhm. Nice to see you again, Poppy. *turns to the jar* What's this?

Mystery: *chuckles* That's our Vague. Vague: *side eyes Poppy angrily* Mystery: Anyway, I'm pretty sure I've heard of pills like those before, ones that transport people to a different reality, except it's different for each person. Very interesting to learn about. *looks down at the water below* So... *turns back to them in curiosity* Where did you get them?

(ONCE AGAIN TOO LATE TO POST-- cough cough)

Puzzle and Vague: *turn to see the pill* Vague: wATCH OUT! Puzzle: *backs away* Mystery: *narrows his eye, intrigued*

Vague: *walks closer to Poppy* Please, don't. Puzzle: Poppy... Mystery: We could find out more about it if she takes it.

(R.I.P) Puzzle: Dad has a point... But who knows what could happen... Vague: *growls at the flying pill* Mystery: *awaits Poppy's response*

Mystery: *nods to a passing couple before sighing loudly* Very well. But I've taken care of this bridge for a long time, i don't want it damaged. Vague: *eyes the floating pill*

Puzzle: Well... I-I'll take it! *reaches for the pill* Vague: *drags him back* Puzzle!

Puzzle: *widens eye at Poppy before backing behind Vague* Vague: *glares at Puzzle * You're younger than me. If I die then that's more or less fine. If you die I get blamed. *tries to hide the fact that he actually cares* Mystery: *bats away pill with his paw*

Mystery: There was a whole jar so I'd say-- Vague: I think it'd be a lot! Puzzle: Give or take a few. *looks around the split pill* Mystery: *rolls eye*

(I don't know, Popppppyyyyyyy?????? As a twist? Eh idfk ._. ) Mystery: Yes. But not here with all the people trying to enjoy their night.

Mystery: *grasps the jar with his tail and transports them all to another location. The dark clearing in a forest* Puzzle: *nods to his brother* Vague: *glances at Poppy*

(Maybe she accidentally eats one? *shrugs*) Mystery: *knocks the jar to the ground, smashing it but also letting all of the other pills free*

Mystery: *uses particles from his tail to destroy most of the pills, saving a few for study* Vague: *smashes several with his paws but one gets past him, flying toward Puzzle and Poppy* Look out, you two!

(sure, if you want?) Mystery: *rushes towards Poppy and Puzzle* Vague: *watches*

Puzzle: *widens eye* nO! Vague: *runs over to her, standing above her, worriedly* Poppy? Poppy, are you alright!?

Puzzle: Poppy... Vague: *watches nervously* ... Mystery: There's nothing we can do. We must wait until it's over.

Vague: *watches Poppy fall limp, flinches* Puzzle: ... What... What happened... Mystery: ...

(0-0 I can't help sorry...) Vague: *trots closer to Poppy* You okay? What was it like there? *touches her shoulder gently* Puzzle: *sits next to Vague, watching the two intently* Mystery: *waits for her to answer*

Mystery: Is that all you can tell us?

Mystery: Interesting... I'll leave you three now. *disappears* Vague: Okay, at least they didn't affect you much. And my eye seems to be better. *Suddenly his left eye switches to his right and blinks several times* Puzzle: Good. At least you're (Poppy) back.

Vague: *narrows eye and backs away* Yeah. Great. Puzzle: He's back to his old self then... Vague: *shoots him a glare* What will we do now?

Vague: *His face softens slightly but he doesn't speak* Puzzle: *sighs* Any... Anywhere you can take us, Poppy? Somewhere for all of us to calm down? Vague: *nods*

Vague: Sounds... Good. Puzzle: *nods* Lets go.

Vague and Puzzle: *both quickly follow* *Skip to the River* Vague: *sighs and lays down, closing his eye almost instantly* Puzzle: *sits near Poppy*

Puzzle: *clears throat* Sorry that we kind of... Dragged you into this... Hey, *laughs quietly* At least dad has something to study... Heh... Vague: *opens eye slowly, watching the two calmly as he listened to the quiet wind*

Puzzle: And dangerous! *pauses* I'm still sorry. And because of my brother. *nods over his shoulder, unaware that he is awake* For his behaviour. Vague: *rolls eye*

Puzzle: Mhm. I hope that pill affected you as little as you said... If there's anything you want to talk to me about then that's fine. Vague: *purrs quietly enough for both of then not to hear*

(*Dying inside because I don't know which to ship*) Puzzle: Oh- okay. *looks at the water banks awkwardly* Vague: *turns over so that he is now facing away from them, looking at the blades of grass*

Puzzle: *tenses up before relaxing and smiling calmly, looking at the horizon* Vague: *trying not to loose his shi-- jk.* *Closes his eye and rests his head in the grass* (Also I'm listening to Dream by Imagine Dragons and it fits this so well...) Puzzle: *after almost a minute of silence* S-sorry for not talking, I'm not all that talkative...

(I have no flipping clue what should happen next ERM) Puzzle: *looks back at Vague* Vague: ...

(What should happen next?? Any ideas?) Puzzle: ... *glances at Poppy every now and then* Vague: *slowly turns around, gets up and walks away into the tree line* Puzzle: *ignores Vague, stays with Poppy*

Vague: *now through the treeline, trots along the grass and along a dusty path until he finally gets to another river, settling down and staring into the water at his flickering eye* :Meanwhile: Puzzle: *watching Poppy, carefully shifting into a more comfortable position, slightly disturbing poppy*

Puzzle: *looks at the treeline, expecting to see Vague, heart rate speeds up when he doesn't see him* Vague: *staring into the water angrily* (smol bean is annoyed)

BRB REALLY QUICK. I NEED TO DO SOMETHING. YOU'LL SEE SOON.

Vague: *growls and splashes the water angrily before walking back to the river where Puzzle and Poppy were, annoyed but also confused at his actions which he himself could only half explain (I have no flipping clue what I'm writing)* Puzzle: *smiling at Poppy*

Puzzle: Hey, you were out for a little while *laughs nervously* Vague: *appears at the top of a slope, behind the two, watching them silently*

(We wont! But where is your character talking to the posh cat? In the same area as us or??)

Vague: *turns head slightly to see someone in the trees, twitching their ears, he narrows his eye while still listening to Puzzle and Poppy*

(Next to a river which is near the woods they were in earlier, calming down from battling flying pills... It sounds weird when I say it out loud XD)

Puzzle: You alright? *looks back to the river, not noticing or sensing Vague* Vague: *eyes the second figure with interest*

Vague: *looks back at the pair before making his way over to the next figure, interested* Who are you? *tilts head* Puzzle: *nods awkwardly*

Puzzle: *pauses* He... Went into the forest a little while back... I'm not sure where he is now. *tail wavers* :Meanwhile: Vague: *continues to watch the figure* Your name?

Puzzle: We can go find him if you want? Hopefully he hasn't gone back to the stone with the runes. *sighs* :Meanwhile: Vague: *Steps a few feat back, narrowing his eye* Only curious. I'm Vague if that makes you feel better. *wavers tail*

Puzzle: *nods, suddenly spotting Vague near the treeline talking to someone* Hey, there he is. I wonder who he's with... Vague: ...

Vague: ... Never said you were. *looks over Coro* What're you doing here, if you don't mind me asking in a friendly manner?

Puzzle: We should see what he's up to... Knowing him he'll find some way to get himself hurt. *glances at Poppy* Unless you don't want to.
