First :0 Second >:D So maybe they get abducted and get tied up and since they found out Dobutsu is a demon they kill him?

:D Hehehehe- Okay so I'ma be the kidnapper(s) (plural if you wanna be one) Their attacker stood above Dobutsu and Karume after making sure they were bound tightly. Dobutsu was covered almost completely with rope, one in his mouth as well, gagging him as he struggled and growled

"So," Their captor muttered, "You've been traveling with a demon?" Dobutsu hissed loudly

"It's against the demon slayer code. If I was mean, I'd kill you both but... I'll do you a favor and get it off your hands."

He grabbed Dobutsu and held his sword to his neck. "I said I'll do you a favor and get rid of it." Dobutsu's eyes widened as he started to struggle against him, letting out muffled pleads

"And why should I?" He pressed the blade against his skin. "It's nothing but a human killing leech."

He tugged Dobutsu to his feet by the hair. "Oh yeah? What if I give him blood, huh? What then?"

He smiled evily, forcing Dobutsu to his knees besides him and replacing the sword against his neck. "You seem attached to this creature. It's such a shame.."

"Oh, you've given it a name, too?" Dobutsu struggled even more than earlier, tears trailing down his face as he tried to get away

He grinned, pulling Dobutsu up slightly as he started to press the sword harder against his skin. "Say goodbye to your little demon~" Dobutsu gave a soft whimper as he squeezed his eyes shut

The next few seconds went by like hours: The sword sliced through Dobutsu's neck as he screamed through the rope, his body dropping to the floor as their captor threw his head to Karume's feet

Tears continued to trail down his face as his head began to disintegrate, mumbling what sounded like an apology through the gag

Their captor simply smiled, "My, my, you seem like you were very attached to him." ((And since I feel bad-)) Dobutsu managed to move the gag out of his mouth, whispering frantically. "K-Karume, listen, I need you to lean down a bit- i-I need to be able to reach your neck- Please-"

Their captor tilted his head in confusion Dobutsu suddenly bit onto her neck, wrenching at the taste of her blood, but within seconds it started to undo the disintegrating, his body breaking from the bonds and standing

Their captor panicked, drawing his sword again only for it to be knocked away as Dobutsu's body picked up his head and carefully reattached it

He glanced at Karume and gave a small smile, his facial expression showing how exhausted he already was

*insert epic battle that Dobutsu wins because I'm too tired to bother*

He untied her and took off running, soon loosing energy and collapsing, having been able to make it to the cherry blossom circle

((Yeee-))

Dobutsu was still out cold, they were both still in the cherry blossom circle, cherry blossom petals all around them

There didn't seem to be any immediate dangers around

He seemed surprisingly peaceful, sound asleep ((And with the petals and wildflowers around he looks, dare I say it, ✨attractive✨))

After a minute he slowly pushed himself up and yawned, rubbing at his eyes

He blinked a d glanced at her, giving a small smile, still tired but not as much as before

He seemed slightly taken aback before wrapping his arms around her tightly

"It's okay.. I'm fine.. "

He held her close, rubbing her back lightly

"Let's go back to the village .. Okay?"

He took her hand and pulled her up, stumbling slightly, still needing to rest

"Y-Yknow, it may be my turn to be dragged now..." He let out a small laugh

He started walking, his legs giving out beneath him after a few steps

He gave another laugh. "M-Maybe we should rest more- Or maybe wait until the others find us-"

He flopped back onto the circle of wildflowers, closing his eyes

"... This place is really peaceful..."

"Do you think that the others will be able to find us..?" He yawned, his eyes staring to close

"Hm.." He struggled to keep his eyes open. "Should we keep going or..?"

"But... We... Have to...... Keep......." He fell asleep

He mumbled softly

He suddenly grabbed her by the hand and pulled her down besides him, cuddling her like a large teddy bear (( :3))

He nuzzled against her neck, breathing in her scent deeply, letting out a soft sigh ((Okay now timeskip to when the others find them and take them back to the village or smth? :D))

((Otay-)) Dobutsu woke up- ... However long later you want it to be-

He rubbed his eyes as he sat up, glancing at them

((:000)) He blinked before glancing at Karume

He smiled and laid back down, holding her close

He sighed and wrapped his arms around her, closing his eyes again

He glared at them back. "What?!"

"IM NOT EVEN-"

He huffed

He quickly glanced down at Karume

"... Pfft-"

He glared at Niko, his eyes telling him to back off

He huffed and turned his attention to Karume again

"..." He lightly brushed her hair from her face, smiling

He slapped Nikos hand away

"She's been through a lot, let her sleep-"

He smiled down at her

Si- Also he has a scar circling his neck now-))

He had dozed off again, holding her close to him

He was sleeping soundly, the only think left of what had happened was cuts around his mouth from the rope, and a thin, jagged scar on his neck, the edges uneven and sharp

He lightly shuddered under her touch, slowly opening his eyes. "Hm?-"

He sat up and stretched, yawning. "It's fine, don't worry about it.."

He glanced at her and blinked back "What?"

"You're staring at me- What's wrong-

"Yes you are."

"Yes. You are."

"Y e s y o u a r e"

He shrugged and got up, lightly feeling his neck before pausing

He glanced around "Is there a mirror or something nearby?-"

He huffed

He blinked and gave a small smile "If you weren't there, then that would have happened."

He pulled her close and hugged her

"It's okay, Karume.."

"Well... You were tied up."

"..."

He tilted his head
