While running away from the Phantoms he got attacked by one, which is why his eye was black in that anim
this was when Igige was 7, and even though he was going to die because of the infection he still went to "The Alphas" and legit gave his daughter to them bc he was bout to die

If her parents died normally (Her mom died normally but in a series im gonna make she has to kill her father) it's go like this
Her father would have died from the "Wolves" (A pack of overpowered wolves who hate Amber and her family) while trying to sneak through their place. This happened when she was 8. He'd have been noticed by a guard wolf, attacked and killed. Oreo, Amber, and Cinder hear the news and cry for ages. And her mother died trying to protect Amber, Oreo and Cinder while she was 6.
