-Acts tough but is a sweetheart if she can trust you
-doesn't like the mentioning of mothers, her mom still dies but her dad doesn't be a butt now

Lily - "Wandering around until she found a coffee shop and decided to walk in"
Carlton leaned against the counter, chatting with the barista there.
His head twitched slightly towards the sound on instinct but he didn't turn to look.
Lily - "She saw Carlton chatting it up with the barista but shook it off and went to the other line"
Giving in to instinct he let himself turn and froze slightly, before calling out.
"Hey wait, if I'm holding you up you can go in front of me."
Lily - Oh uh- Okay- "She silently walked over to the other line and went to a table to sit down, slightly s h o o k from human interacti-"
Carlton wavered, then jogged over, rubbing his neck apologetically.
"I'm sorry about that. I didn't mean to..uh. I'm Carlton."
Lily - "Looked over to him" Oh, it's fine, just try not to do it again. Guess I should give you my name too, it's Lily.
"Very nice name."
He fiddled with his hands nervously.
"Can I..sit? I don't wanna intrude but I feel like I owe you."
"Thank you."
He slid smoothly into the chair and propped his chin up on his hand.
"You from this town? I haven't seen you."
Lily - "She slightly shook her head" I think I'm in a city near here, I dunno I just walked over here from school
"School?"
He leaned back, raising an eyebrow.
"You look too old to still be in school."
Lily - "visible confusion" Really now?

"You look like you're in your mid twenties. I mean, with my height people are surprised when I tell them I'm not twelve."
He laughed nervously, trying to hide his anxiousness.
"How old are you?"
Lily - Like 18- I think I got the 'look older than I am' thing from my dad's side of the family "literal thinking moment"
"Oooh. So not that young, ok."
He brushed back his spiky soft hair slightly, wiping his forehead.
"Do you have anywhere to be today? It's hot in here but I don't wanna call it short."

Lily - No not really, my brother should be home from school and my dad said to be home by like 9 so I'm fine

"Neat. Maybe..grab some ice cream?"
He offered a small smile.

Lily - Yeah, sure "smiled a bit"
He grinned brightly.
"I know a good place. My sister and I used to go there."
He practically leapt from his seat.
Lily - Aight "Got up and took her drink from the barista that was cooling down while she was talking with him"
He tossed open the door and practically glid across the concrete as he half jogged.
"Sorry if I'm too fast," he laughed, turning around as he went.
"I'm just excited."
Lily - "She shrugged whilst smiling" Eh, it's fine. I could start jogging right now but I don't know where you're taking me-
Lily - "She stopped and looked to where he was pointing" nEVer seen it before
He held out the vanilla cone for her, holding his own which had a scoop of chocolate.
"Just plain works?"
Lily - Yeah "She took the vanilla cone and started- uh- well I wouldn't say eating since eating includes your tee- cONSUMing it-"
"You don't talk to people much, do you?"
His voice was suddenly soft and soothing.
Lily - "Silently looked over to him" Well no, but I do talk to my friends often
"Ehh I don't have any."
He wiped a dollop of his nose and stuck his thumb into his mouth.
"They good friends?"
Lily - Yeah actually, "She started to smile" They're in a relationship with each other and it's so cute-
"Also never been in one."
He turned and his green eyes glinted for a second.
"Must be nice."
Lily - "She looked at her ice cream as it started to melt in her hand" Yeah..!
"Ahh, hang on."
Carlton yanked a napkin from his pocket and leaned over to wipe it off.
Lily - Oh no you don't have to, lemme just- "this adult licks ice cream off her hand like a ****ing 9 year old"
Lily - "chuckles after being a 9 year old" bet ya didn't expect that from an 18 year old hUH-
oh god 'Say No To This' just started playing *sobs*)
(THAT'S WHEN MR. CARLTON REYNOLDS WALKED INTO MY LIFE-)
"I didn't e-expect it all."
He turned away in an attempt to hide his slowly reddening face.

Lily - "Tried to look at his face" ya good buddy?-
"Yeah, I'm fine."
He turned back like nothing happened, now looking paler but less blushy.
He watched her from the corner of his eye, ears still flushed.
"Anyway, I'm still sorry about earlier."
