ANYWAYS IF I CAN ****ING REMEMBER ALL THE DETAILS WHO WANTS TO HEAR ABOUT BEAST BRIGADE RANKS

OK we've got: grunts -the lowest class. most often put into danger and are generally just seen as disposable. often consists of unloyal, untrustworthy or not-as-useful members. they have to do pretty much all the dirty work and are often forced to put themselves into harm's way just to do their job and avoid a punishment, and usually have the idea that "if they just try hard enough, they can move up the ranks and be accepted by the gods" dangled infront of their faces. social outcasts and are usually the common enemy within the beast brigade, but it would probably fall apart without them because nobody else wants the jobs they do. edmund and nigel are in this class minor scientist -ok we jump up a bit here bc minor scientists are actually like valued and important but they're still kinda disposable but nobody like. points that out lol... they pretty much just take care of the fusions and keep everything in check. caretakers are in this class. which means that andrea and jesse are in this class i guess

just. regular members -they don't really have a real name yet im still working on naming them bc them and grunts used to just be one class and i havent thought of a name for these guys. but they're like. the cooler grunts. they make up the majority of the beast brigade, are considered loyal, but are also the most commonly sacrificed because like there's. a lot of them and also why would the gods want a sacrifice that doesn't like them.... ANYWAYS they're like on the same rank as minor scientist tbh

admins -ok now we're getting into the ranks that actually have like. power over others. these guys are the ones at the heads of mission groups (groups usually made up of 1-2 admins, some members and a handful of grunts, and usually some experiments), and also the ones that organize things for leader and are generally seen as role models and/or some kind of standard to live up to. major scientists -admins but they know things. they help the head scientist carry out fusing pokemon and assign caretakers to fusions but are otherwise just admins minus the mission groups. they're on the same level of power as admins

head scientist -there's only one of these, this rank belongs to alex. he's both the head of the entire lab department and also like a second-in-command for leader, and would take over if she was gone or something happened to her (but would not become the next leader- he'd simply choose a new one). he takes leader's fusion requests and with the help of the major scientists he figures out which pokemon are to be fused to fit her requests. alex specifically is also the creator of the forever unnamed fusion machine and the chemicals it uses to fuse pokemon. nobody else knows how the machine is made and nobody can figure out how it does what it does

leader -wow i wonder what this rank is. there's only one of these, obviously, it's gianna. she controls the entire beast brigade, and also kind of acts as like a ? priest? she carries out rituals and sacrifices (with the help of admins). she also has her own mission group (which is the largest) which contains her best admins and the best experiments and junk. she gives orders and her admins and/or scientists plan it out for her so she can execute it. is usually placed upon a kind of godly pillar that puts her above like,, humans as a whole, at least in the beast brigade

keep in mind this entire system is like entirely overhauled under salad's reign, because salad is not a good leader and does whatever she wants without structure. scientists just kinda poof because alex poofs and the fusion machine broke so like what do we need scientists for (caretakers become their own rank though) and while she does have admins that's about it

experiments (other than salad becoming leader i guess) are separate from this system btw and kind of have their own but also not really and their ranks are just more based on their power level (which ranges from e-class to a-class). usually the regular, not experiment members can move around in their ranks at least a little but experiments are like. made? into power and the most that will happen is they move into a better mission group or into an admin's team (or leader's team, but that's pretty rare)
