hey, by the way this is just basically furrytrash’s old style, i copied it for this cause its very nostalgic for me. not mine at all. trigger warning for self harm and other sensitive subjects. this is all by mika. i wanted to talk about how flipanim is basically a flaming dumpster, and just how the world is going in general.

i often miss things from 7 to 4 years ago, just because it was a simpler time, but ESPECIALLY flipanim. i never was that good at art, and i was quite young at the time, but flipanim was a better place despite the many trolls such as RPOK and the occasional sans fangirl. people could joke and make simple and fun art pieces, and didnt worry so much about them being good. we were carefree. it wasnt just flipanim, everything was carefree. there wasnt so much wrong, so much toxicity, so much to worry about. now, everything has gone downhill. theres so much less authenticity, originality, people who actually care. ive seen plenty of people make valid points about how flipanim sucks now, and we all seem to collectively agree that it started getting worse once the register was removed.

while this is a contributing factor, i also argue that its because the whole WORLD has gotten worse. and even if the register still was here, that couldnt make any of this better, because people would still consistently spew out nothing but toxic nonsense! i know this is silly, but really, what are we doing? i know the website is dying, but it hurts me to see this website which ive spent years on be destroyed by both having no new users and some already existing users making terrible jokes. a particular few people who i wont name but whom im sure we’ve all noticed, make constant jokes about self harm, suicide, and other very bad things. nobody can really do anything about this, but it makes me wonder how we even got here? where is our decency? why is everyone claiming the website to be dead and terrible, when were not even trying to improve it?

the website is bad for a multitude of reasons, but us sitting on our asses is probably one of them. i could complain about this for ages. sure, theres not much to do, but it feels like were doing nothing at all. give alts to friends, just be GOOD PEOPLE, damnit i have nothing left to say you havent heard already, and im also getting the feeling thisll become a joke, but either way, ill end this off.

^^^^ like, if people could find out how to put images through the old editor, whats stopping us from taking this whole website and fixing it up? -mika
