So my cat Yokai died a month ago. I cried a lot over this and will probably still randomly cry about it. One reason I am very sad is because he died very early compared to his mum (died after birth at 8yrs old) and grandma (died at 14yrs old). I know that I did all I could with the vet visits and all but as the last cat born to the bloodline I imagined he’d live the longest and most comfortable life of course at some point he’d die but at least I’d be able to cry less knowing I gave him the best life. He also basically spent his whole life in my lap. After all he was literally born there so after two short years of this loudly purring mass in my lap It made me sob whenever I realized that space was just empty. So yeah excuse me for completely abandoning this site and art in general for like three months. Might start doing stuff here again after exams but for now I'm gonna go cry again.
