LinkYou are either a new worker or the child of a worker at a research and experimental facility and as you were wandering down the halls you come upon the hall most living subjects are held in most are what you'd expect and are animal or creatures that need to be held to prevent from a mess being made but the last cell struck you as a shock. It was a girl no older then 9 or 10, and she seemed very happy to see you.

Linkthe perspective and pose are shit but i tried my hardest to get out of my comfort zone and do something different.

The little girl would sit up, the cover over her head falling off when her ears would perk up a bit. She scooted closer to the glass with a smile.
The girl placed her hand on the glass over where Kirito had put his with a curious look.
The girl tilted her head as well, copying Kirito's movements with a giggle.
Her ears perked up more and twitched at the question, she scooting very close to the glass so she could point to the name plate on the outside of her cell. It had her subject code at the top like all the others but if he were to read through the information below it'd reveal she referred to herself as 'Olivia'
Olivia nodded, "K-..Kiri..?" She had a bit of an odd accent to her voice when she spoke, not very used to English or speaking in general.
She smiled happily at the fact she'd said it right, perking up at the sound of footsteps. One of the main scientists of the building was doing a walk through, raising an eyebrow seeing Kirito in the subject hall.
They'd wave back "Did *insert parental's name* say it was okay for you to be in here?" they asks, Olivia pressing her hands against the glass once more as she watched and listened.
They nodded in understanding "Well don't be too long in here, It's almost time for the subjects dinner." Olivia perked up happily at the mention of food as the scientist ruffled Kirito's hair and walked out of the hall after finishing their walk through.
She frowned but nodded in understanding, she opened her mouth to ask something but realized it'd be too hard. She breathed against the glass to fog it up before writing 'Will you come back?'
Olivia waved as he walked away, laying back down holding her blanket when he was gone.

Olivia sat up quickly hearing the footsteps, she basically ran to the glass in excitement with a smile.
Olivia waved "Hi Kiri!" she spoke much better English now that they were older, her ears perked a bit "You know what Marc(the scientists that watches over her) said today?" She seemed eager for him to asks what he'd said.

"He said that I could leave my cell! And like not just to the observing room- he's letting me walk around anywhere I want to today!" Olivia giggles excitedly, pushing her door open which was unlocked "See? He left it unlocked for me! But of course I was waiting for you before I left.."
Kirito: Aw, you didn't have to do that! *He was happy for her, but felt bad that she felt she needed to wait for him.*
Olivia stepped out into the hall, only after grabbing her blanket which she'd still had with her in the cell. She smiled happily and let out a nervous giggle "I know I didn't HAVE to but I wanted the first thing outside of this glass I see to be you-.." Her cheeks flushed a light red as she took a tiny inhale before hugging him tightly.
She smiled happily as an excited giggle left her, she pulled from the hug and took his hand in hers "Well let's get going, I only have until dinner to be out."
Kirito: Alright! *He smiled and began walking.* Where would you like to go?
"hm..I dunno- I've never been outside the cell in here, that I remember at least.." She shrugged, walking with him happily.
"Anywhere is fine! I wasn't really all too worried about where we went...I was just really happy to be able to see you up close." She blushes a bit "B-but anyways uhm..is there anywhere other things like me are- like other people or subjects? I-if so I wanna go there."
Kirito: So you want to go where people like you are? *He tilted his head.*
"Kind of- I-i doubt there's anyone else as human as I am that's not a scientist- or at least Marc told me there isn't. But I'd like to look anyways."
She whimpered a bit as her ears drooped "Sorry-..? Hm..." She was trying to think of a place she would know "W-well we don't have to go somewhere with people..what about somewhere where it's just us?"
The girl sat up with a smile as the blanket over her head fell off, her ears perking up a little.
She tilted her head curiously, scooting closer to the glass and pressing her hands against it.

She giggled happily before going a little quiet thinking over something "W-what's your n-namme?" She struggled to speak clearly and her words were muffled due to the glass, she had a strong odd accent.
Emmy took our a piece of paper and put it to the glass saying who s- was and that she was mute.
Olivia read through it quickly "M-mmute?" she didn't understand what that was.
She took the paper off and wrote something on it, putting it back against the window is said. 'It means I can't talk.'
"O-oh-" Olivia understood what she meant now "W-well...I-i'm Olivia." The last word was the only one she could say clearly.
She wrote something on the pice of paper and showed Olivia. 'Wanna be friends?'
She smiled brightly and blushed slightly, writing something again. 'I haven't had a friend ever because kids thought I was weird, so thank you for becoming my friend!'
Olivia smiled, she opened her mouth speak but realized it was to many words. She breathed against the glass to fog it up 'I've never had a friend either, so thank you too!'
Olivia was very happy, her ears twitching as footsteps came down the hall. A scientist with a tray of food, he raised an eyebrow seeing Emmy in the hall.
Olivia seemed happy to see him, her ears perking happily. "Did someone say you could be in here?" The scientist would ask, using his free hand to swipe his id card against Olivia's cell door unlocking it but not opening it.
She stood up and wrote something on the piece of paper, showing it to him 'My Dad works here. He said I could stay until til I have to go home'
He'd read over it "oooh that's right I forgot he was bringing you today." He'd push the door open which Olivia was now standing at waiting for her food.
He glanced at Emmy chuckling a bit "Ya know..I'm not supposed to do this but if you wanna I could let you sit in there while she's eating and I feed the others." He offers.
He opened the door for her and handed Olivia the tray before holding the door for Emmy "Don't tell your dad I let you in there alright?"
He let the door shut but not lock as he walked away to get the rest of the subjects food. Olivia smiled happily seeing Emmy up close, the cell was bare except for the blanket.
She sat down against the wall, taking another piece of paper out and writing on it. *I can now see you better!*
Olivia smiled, sitting down across from her "y-yeah!" she giggles excitedly as she begins eating some of her food.
She smiled at her, looking down at the floor, fidgeting with her pencil.
'An animal that looks like this' she wrote, the drawing of a cat looked very realistic and good.
She finished drawing the cat, smiling. 'You can have it.' She wrote and gave it to her.
She sat up, the blanket over her head falling off when her ears perked.
She scooted a tiny bit closer and put a hand over where Spartan's was against the glass.
Spartan: *he was wondering why she was in here, she looked completely normal*
She tilts her head curiously a bit, breathing against the glass to fog it up 'What's your name?' she used her finger to write. her writing was oddly neat for her age.

Spartan: *he looks at the writing by her cell to see what subject she was*
The description under her subject code didn't have much information about why she was in holding besides the fact she was the only docile creature in a group of other hostile ones.
Olivia smiles a bit and nods in understanding before perking up hearing footsteps walking down the hall.
Spartan: *he hears the footsteps as well and looks in their direction*
It was one of the main scientist, Marc, and he was holding a tray of food. He raised an eyebrow seeing Spartan in the hall but didn't say anything to him.
Marc would wave back slightly, stopping when he got to Olivia's cell and swiping his id card past the scanner to unlock the door "I didn't know you'd be back here, I would have asked you to feed her instead.." Marc says, Olivia got up to stand at the door waiting for her food.
Spartan: Why is she even in here? She looks relatively normal. *he stands up*
"From what i've read in her file she's part of a group of other's who aren't from earth..everybody's keeping whatever it is under pretty tight wraps but she's the only part of said group they could get I guess." Marc shrugged, opening her cell door and handing her the tray which she took and walked away to sit down and eat not even attempting to get out as any other subject would.
"She isn't, but we have to be careful with unknown species..you never know what would set them off or get them hostile."
"Mhm..I've been talking to the others about letting her walk around freely tomorrow, But they won't let me unless somebody else can be with her at all times."
"Really? Well i'll be sure to tell em that- Stop back by around lunch, that's probably when she'll be let out."
*Vinnie, being a pretty cocky guy, took a puff of his cigar and glared at the child* "What are you looking at?"
She'd sit up, her smile fading a little at the glaring. The blanket over her head fell to the floor as her ears twitched and perked up a little.
*Vinnie tapped the glass a bit, waiting for an answer* "Well...? What do you want?"
She stammered a bit struggling to get an actual answer out, she eventually gave out on words and scooting close to the glass breathing against it to fog it up 'What's that?" she used her finger to write the question in the fogged up area, pointing to Vinnie's cigar afterwards to let him know what she was referring to.
(I thought it said "who" for a second-)
"What is it?" *He puffed another ring of smoke at the glass, blurring out what she had wrote* "It's mine" *He grinned*
(I never thought of the day I'd be an asshole towards a supposed "kid")
She frowned a bit, tilting her head when he blurred her words away. She picked up her blanket it using it to wipe her side of the glass clean breathing against the glass again to add another patch of fog to write in 'Who are you?' she wrote again, she was wasn't very fond of Vinnie so far but he was the first person to talk to her on the other side of the glass today so she tried to carry conversation.
"Look, kid, I ain't even supposed to be here at the moment, I gotta head down to HR, so if you've got something IMPORTANT to say, you'd better tell me now" *He was clearly annoyed*
She whimpered slightly but fogged up the glass again 'i'm sorry' she wrote with a little frowny face beside it, her ears drooping.
She was wrapped in a blanket burrito scooting around the floor on her tummy in her cell pretending to be a 'caterpillar' as she'd told the scientists that normally fed her in the mornings.
[Ha, things are gonna get interesting... But not illegal :)]
*Not even after 5 seconds, quite a bit of struggling could be heard from down the hall*

She sat up hearing this, scooting to the glass and leaning against it trying to look down the hallway.
*It was Vinnie, forcefully being brought down the hall to her cell* "God, let... Go of me, you cunts!" *He was putting up quite a fight*
She backed away from the glass a bit, A little confused and scared.
*Her cell door opened, and he was tossed inside with her* "Gah, no!" *He quickly scrambled to his feet to try and run back out the door, only to be greeted by a face full of shut door, and he slammed into it*
She looked at him, shuffling back. She'd never had another person in her cell besides Marc of course who was the person that fed her.
*Vinnie pounded on the door a few more times before stepping back, realizing he was trapped in here with something. Expecting the worst, he braced himself and slowly turned around, only to see her. He sighed with relief*

She tilted her head, sitting up a little but not scooting any closer. She was a bit scared of Vinnie from how he acted yesterday.

*He sighed, a bit annoyed at this* "You know, I DIDN'T SIGN UP FOR THIS!"
"Maybe not- but hey you seemed awfully keen on picking on the poor thing yesterday so let's see what happens when there isn't glass separating you two." A voice, could be heard coming through the speaker in the roof of the room. The girls ears would droop at Vinnie's loud tone as she scooted away only to perk up again at the voice over the speakers.
*Vinnie groaned, realizing who it was* "God, NOW what do you want???"
"Nothing really, just sit in there for an hour or so and let us study what happens. Easy enough right? Well- have fun and please be nice." The voice says before the entire room went quite. The girl frowned when the familiar voice went away, staring at Vinnie in confusion and fear.
She quietly laid out straight on the floor and rolled out of her little blanket burrito before standing up quietly.
*Judging from Vinnie's look, he had ditched the Cigars and was now enjoying a lollipop. He also wore a suit* "Hey, kid :)"
She stared "H-hi..?" she had an odd accent, seeming nervous but a little less scared of him as she tilted her head "W-what's that?" She now referred to the lollipop.
She nodded a bit, being very curious as she shuffled a little closer.
She took it and looked at it studying it. she shuffled back again as she very gently licked the lollipop she was given, after unwrapping it of course. Her eyes lit up at the sweet taste, not ever being given something like this before now.
"I figured you'd like it... Look, I'm sorry about yesterday, I was just a bit frustrated, because I was running late, but after I talked to you, you kind of just, stayed on my mind... I came to visit you again today but apparently that's restricted and they caught me, so no I'm here..."
"O-oh- W-well it's okay..I-i'm....glad you w-wanted to visit me again.." She struggled with her words, continuing to lick at the candy before curiously biting at it cracking it easily due to her teeth being sharper than most peoples.
"You know, I'm sure I could ask Marc if I could see you more often... To help"
She smiled "R-really?" she was very happy to hear that, sitting down on the ground leaning back against the wall picking her blanket up.
"Although I REALLY don't wanna have to ask him, I'll do it for you" *he smiled*
Her ears perked happily "Okay! T-thank you..." Her cheeks tinted a light red, she was not used to seeing people and having somebody act so nice to her after being so rude was weird but nice.

"Looks like I'm stuck here for the time being..."

"Y-yeah.." She looked around the room seeing as she didn't really have anything but her blanket the room was quite boring. "hm.." She sighs and flops down onto the floor laying on her stomach and kicking her legs back and forth in the air which is what she did a lot of the time due to her lack of entertainment.
"Yeah..I-i only g-get toys w-when i-i'm out in the e-experiment room.." She rolls over to lay on her back, looking at Vinnie "Y-you don't have a-anything to p-play with do y-you?" she asks curiously
She'd sigh heavily and sit up "W-well...What's y-your name?" she tried to make conversation to hopefully not feel so bored.
"Olivia.." That was the only word so far that she could say clearly and not struggle with.
"E-English isn't m-mmy f-first...L-language..I-it's hard to g-get used to it.."

Xander: Oh, And who are you, lil one? *he came closer to the glass*
She sat up, scooting closer "I-i'm Olivia!" she struggled with the first word but the second one was much easier for her to say, she scooted closer as the blanket over her head fell to the ground.
Xander: Nice name! You remind me of my daughter! Now, we just have to do a few tests for your health. You understand? *he had a reassuring look with one eye. Impressive.*
Xander: Okay, anything that may or you think might harm you in the future?
Xander* He wrote something down and looked up* Anything that bothers you that we don't know?
Xander: *he wrote something down again* So, why are you even here? I just need to know, I'm new here.
She shrugged once more, scooting closer to the glass where she could see the subject plate outside the cell pointing to it "I-i think t-t-that thing says w-why.." She says, her ears twitching a little.
The plate had her subject code like all the others did and explained that she was the only docile and attainable member of a group of other hostile creatures, not much else was written besides that. She'd gently place her hands on the glass trying her best to see what the plate said but had little luck in doing so.

"Olivia-" She answers, her cheeks flushing a bit red with blush when she was called pretty.
"I-i'm o-one thousand and t-ten-" Olivia says, tilting her head "Y-you're very y-young.."
"O-okay!" Olivia smiled happily, perking up at footsteps walking down the hall.
It was Marc, one of the main scientists in the building "Samantha? What on earth are you doing down here? Does your dad know you're messing with the subjects. he set the tray of food he had down on the ground as he knelt beside her.
"Ah I see, Well next time you come with your papa I could let you and Olivia here meet in the observing room where all of Olivia's toys are so you could play outside of her glass." He says, standing back up to open Olivia's door and hand her the tray he'd brought with him.
Marc blinked at her slipping through "Uhm I don't think your papa would want you in there while she's eating-" He says, leaving the door open hoping she'd leave. Olivia grabbed her tray and set it on the floor as she just stared at Samantha.
Marc glanced away before looking at her with a sigh "Alright...you can play for a little but only until I finish feeding the others got it? And you can't tell your papa i let you-"
"Okay, this door's gonna stay unlocked if you need to leave. Now i'll be back soon." Marc turned and left the hall to go get the other subjects food.
Megan (11 years old, child of one of the workers): I walk around the faculty, humming a tune my mother used to sing to me. I then looked at the child in the cell and frowned. "Hello?"
