Xavier woke up on a cool clear March morning, his alarm ringing right in his ear. He picked up his phone, 7:00 AM. He sighed and got out of bed. His room was a mess, the only thing in order was his dresser. Which he promptly went over to and grabbed clothes out of it. After quickly getting dressed he went out of his room and checked his phone, seeing if any jobs had accepted him yet. For a 16 year old he was having decent trouble getting a job. Only one job had accepted him, a scientist had been looking for an assistant and there where no qualifications. He just assumed the scientist was looking for someone to run errands for them. Xavier opened up the fridge and made himself a sandwich for lunch. After his lunch was ready he got his shoes and a jacket on and left for the scientist's lab. Once at the lab Xavier knocked on the door. A loudspeaker soon came on, and a camera focused on Xavier. "hello? who are you?" the voice from the loudspeaker said. Continued below
