Varian's fur bristled and he quickly turned to head inside, his tail twitching nervously. Marne raised a brow at them and paused. He huffed and started getting up. "Dammit-" he dropped the cig and stomped on it before glancing around. He furrowed his brows when he sat Varian go inside

Marne's ears pinned back and he let out a nervous chuckle, lifting his hands. "H-hey- no need for violence- right-?" He tried to started walking away. Varian rushed inside to warn everyone

He glanced around at the men and huffed, tRying to put on a tough act. He cleared his throat. "I- he killed me- I've been after him since-" he glanced away and huffed. "And I've been helping one of his rivals." Varian peered out of a window and quickly pulled away, panicking a bit

He furrowed his brows at the name and grumbled. "It's called revenge sweetheart-" he glanced down, his ears were lowered

He let out a quiet whimper and took a step back against the wall. "H-he killed me just for money-! I've been by his s-side all his life and he repays me with that-!" He tightened his jaw, his tail flicked against the ground

He frowned and bit his lip, pausing. "How- am I supposed to prove that?"

His fur bristled and his eyes widened, fear flooding over them. His tail curled around his leg. "Wait! I-" he let out a shakey breath. "W-what exactly do you want proof on-"

He nodded and thought for a moment. "I- can try to get his niece to talk-"

He nodded and furrowed his brows. "Shes probably at his office though- she helps him out with stuff."

He shrugged and sat back against the wall. "She's been by his side for awhile- he tells her everything."

He let out a relieved sigh and nodded quickly, glancing away. "I-im the good guy- d-dont worry.."

He nodded and sighed a bit. "Varian will be fine- just not a- people person. If ya want I could have him bring you to Kai's office. I'd probably be killed on sight around there-"

He nodded quickly and started walking to the doors. "Ill go fetch him-"

He walked back in and after a moment or two, Varian walked out. He was a large male lion with a dark brownish-red mane and dull-light brown fur. He had a small v-shaped cut on the side of his ear. He huffed quietly and walked over, stuffing his paws into his pockets.

He gave her a small nod and grinned slightly at the nick-name. "Ah- these no problem-"

He glanced down at her, raising a brow. "Why's that-?"

He chuckled lightly and nodded, continuing to walk. "Sounds nice- ill stop by some time-" he stretched a bit. "You gamble? That's how I get most of my money-"

He nodded. "I've never had to deal with that so I wouldn't really understand-" he glanced down at her leg and raised a brow. "You alright there?"

He let out a snort. "Geez- rough life huh?"

He shrugged and looked ahead of them. "Not too terrible." He sighed. "Grew up on the streets- raised by a bunch of gangsters with my brother- he met the, 'woman of his life'." He furrowed his brows and huffed. "Had Kai and his siblings and he's all I've got."

He shrugged. "Kinda- I mean- were brothers. Gotta love each other-" he huffed. "Though I'm not really sure he actually cares."

He grumbled and muttered. "We Arnt always what we seem I suppose." He glanced down

He nodded and glanced up at a large office building. "I think this is the new place-"

He shook his head. "I'm pretty sure he's in a meeting-" he opened one of the doors for her

He nodded and closed it behind him. A few people that were scattered around took brief glances at them but said nothing. A girl walked up to them with a raised brow. She has long blonde hair and a blue eye, the rest of her hair covered her other eye. She wore a neat buttonup shirt and dress pants. She had lion ears and a tail. She crossed her arms and stopped in front of them, glancing up at Varian then her. "Whos this-?" She blinked a few times. She looked to be around her late teens, early twenties.

She gazed at her expression then frowned a but, looking down at her outfit. "And what is it you need-?"

She nodded. "Alright- as long as they Arnt too in depth then that's fine." He smiled a bit. "Ill leave you two ladies to it-"

:) yessir Varian grinned. "Hey kid-" he ruffled up her hair with his large paw. Marine huffed quietly and glanced away

Varian grinned and glanced down at Marne. "I don't think that possible-" He rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah-"

lMaO yEs) He grumbled quietly and his ears flickered. Varian smiled down at her. "How are ya?"

Lol) Varian purred quietly and smiled. "I'm good-" He huffed but nodded

He snorted. "How so?"

He huffed a bit. "Oh- he killed Marne when he was younger- and I've been stuck with my lil brother so I've just been pulled along into his drama."

He shook his head. "Money-" He huffed

Varians brows raised a bit and he shrugged, following. "Not like I've got anything better to do-" He turned away from them. "Nope-"

He purred quietly and followed Kai was in his office at his desk, doing paperwork

He grinned and watched her, multiple people glanced at her but stayed silent, knowing their spot

He followed a bit aways behind her He had his feet kicked up on the desk and was looking through some papers that were in his lap

Kai raised a brow and sat up, setting the papers on his desk. "Yes-?" He grinned and stood outside the room

He flinched at the noise and blinked. "A while ago, yes."

He furrowed his brows and stood. "Dont yell in my room. And I was young and stupid."

His ears pinned back and he sneered, his fur prickling. "Get out-"

His eyes widened and his ears went flat against his head. "F-Fiona- w-wait-"

His lip quivered and he frowned. "P-please- I- I'm sorry-"

He hit his first against his desk in anger and yelled. "Dammit!"

Mary frowned and bounded up to her. "Hey- what's wrong?"

She pulled her into a hug. "Hey- calm down-"

He frowned and sat down beside her. "Whats wrong?"

Awe he loves you He frowned and pat her back gently. "I'm sure it'll be alright-"

He sighed and gave her a caring hug. "It'll get better soon- I promise-"

He smiled slightly

He sighed but nodded

He smiled and took it with a nod, getting up. "Thanks-"

He let out a small snort and held out a hand to him. "Keith Jean- and- Hannah isn't exactly my type-" he chuckled

👀 Varian and Marne were strolling down the road and talking, Varian stuffed his hands into his pockets as Marne opened the door for him. Marne let out a snicker and looked at Varian. "Ladies first-"

Varian rolled his eyes and walked in, before his eyes rested on her. He raised a brow He walked in behind him

Varian shrugged. "Keeping away from Kai as told." He huffed. Marne rolled his eyes at Varians response. "Stuff."

Varian nodded. "Sure- but- ill pay-" His eyes narrowed a bit and he glanced away
