*Subject's head jolted in the direction of the snap. She spread her wings and took off, landing in front of Bex, crouching down and swishing her tail like a cat ready to pounce*

*Subject followed Bex, flying up and landing in front of her again, growling*

Flower: *she peaked out of the store, her tears still falling, and she shot Subject in the head a few times*

(Vicious geez- what's with Subject getting hit in the head)) *Subject's growl turned into a yelp as she clutched the side of her head, falling down unconsious a second time*

*As Subject this time took damage that would take a lot of energy to repair, she stopped her breathing and her heart, pretty much looking dead*

Flower: *she walked up to bex, tears on her face* You okay?

*A small purple glow began to surround Subject's still body*

*Suddenly, glowing purple chains that were translucent and non-coporeal lashed out from Subject's heart. They attached zombies close to her, draining them of their strength and eventually killing them*

Flower: *sighs, going back inside the store*

*Subject's entire body started shifting into the color of her right arm, and streaks of purple lightning surrounded her. Subject pushed herself up, then activated her layer of indestructable scale-overcoats. It usually would drain a lot out of her, but she got enough from the zombies to keep it intact*

Flower: *sits in corner of the store, hitting the back of her head on the wall*

*Subject suddenly let out an ear-piercing roar as she gave up trying to control the mutation, and let it overcome her*

Flower: *she yelped from the roar* oww!

*Subject turned a blazing eye to the store, and warped into it, right behind Flower*

Flower: *she looked at subject* just kill me...it doesn't matter... *she held her head down, a tear falling down her face*

*Subject pulled Flower out of the corner and slammed her onto her back. Holding her down with her left hand, her right one started to glow. Subject tilted her head at Flower, considering if she should impale Flower on the blade. Waiting a second, she made giant walls come out of the ground, trapping everyone in a set circle around Subject, and with a roar, the moon glew purple*

Flower: *her locket fell out of her pocket* no!! shit... *she looked at the now broken locket, the picture fell out of it, facing the ground* my l-locket...

*The blade on Subject's right hand glowed, and Subject drew it back. Suddenly, she spun and stabbed a zombie through the heart instead. Almost as an afterthought, Subject repaired the locket, growled at Flower, and warped right in front of Bex*

*Subject growled at Bex- blood was on her right arm blade from killing the zombie*

Flower: *she sighed, chasing after Subject, and tackling subject to the ground, and yelling at bex* RUN!!

*Subject growled at Flower, throwing her off with a shake. She stalked over to Bex, ripped the pole out of her hand, and took a giant bite out of it*

*The protective overcoating over Subject's scales finally faded out*

Flower: *she threw a rock at subject* HEY BIG THING!! COME AND GET ME!! *she yelled in a mocking voice, waving her arms, trying to get its attention*

*Subject growled at Flower, then continued munching on the pole*

Flower: *she threw a few more rocks* OVER HERE!! *she walked to the beast* Don't kill her. Let them run.

*Subject growled, and in retailation, warped right in front of Bex's face*

*Subject let out a yelp as it went through her heart, another fatal wound. She nearly dropped the pole, and picked it up, backing away to the other side of the street, collapsing against a building*

*This time, Subject didn't try to heal or chase. She just curled up against the building, whimpering*

Flower: I don't need them..*she tried giving the bandages back, but before she could, she fell to her knees, yelping in pain* AH!!

*Subject let out a low growl, hearing voices. She stalked over to the box of pillows and jumped face first into it, burying herself under the fluffy mess of pillows*
