Adrien, his last memory being complete black, opened his eyes to a golden gate. He saw the gate slightly ajar, and went in. He looked at his hand where his ring once stayed, and remembered what he had done. He looked back up to see a woman, her back towards him, laughing a little, her golden wings and halo shimmering in the bright light and cloudless sky. He tapped her shoulder, her red and black dress, like a Ladybug, turned around to face him. The top of her face unseen, her mouth dropped open. "Adrien?" the woman spoke. The girl's face became clearer, her crystal blue eyes staring back at his impossibly emerald eyes. "MARINETTE?" Adrien gasped. Marinette began to cry, Adrien catching her as she almost fell to her knees. "Marinette, why are you here?" Adrien spoke. Marinette looked at him. "I was Ladybug.. I died in battle...
