i skinned my leg really badly in a bike accident and my dad told me to deal with it and that i shouldve been more careful

its even worse when then they say "why didn't you cry? Don't you have a heart!? Your so heartless!!!" Like bruh you taught me Im not supposed to cry 😐

This is why I cry in my room at night

crying your self to sleep is the best ^

Showing normal emotions seems like a taboo at times because of it

nah then they want us to treat them with respect. And if they don't let us cry, do they just like, not want us to show emotion
