I wrote down how I felt everyday.
Sounds stupid I know, but Once I did that for a while I showed the paper I wrote on to someone else (Like a close friend or just someone I really trust)
Then they actually understood.
some more advice: (sorry to sound like a mom)
I know someone who has recently lost there pet, They said that listening to videos and stuff about other people talking about losing there pets helped.
I do that sometimes!-
I always end up crying though,,
I don't think you can search up videos about people who's parents have kept important things from them
