Maxwell: *he was snapped out of his thoughts when a door opened behind him. Scowling, he turned around* Servant: Excuse me, my lord, but your father requests to see you. *they said meekly*

Maxwell: *he grimaced, storming over towards to the servant* Very well. I shall speak to him. *he stormed past the servant, heading down the hall*

Maxwell: *he stopped, staring straight at the bush. He rested a hand on his sword, gripping it tightly* Come out at once, you foul creature. *he ordered*

Maxwell: *unsheathing his sword, he gripped it even more tightly* Come out at once or I shall slice that tail of yours straight off. *he said menacingly*

Maxwell: *he stepped back, looking at Gold in disgust* How disgraceful. *he pointed his sword at Gold, the blade glinting* Why shouldn’t I slice you to ribbons?

Maxwell: *he grimaced, stomping his foot on Gold’s tail, preventing him from moving* That’s what they all say.

Maxwell: *he stared at him, scowling. Sheathing his sword, he called out* Guards! Guards, come at once! *he looked back at Gold disgusted* Enjoy the remaining days of your filth, demon.

Maxwell: *snorting in disgust, he stormed past Gold as two guards seized Gold, keeping a firm hold on him* Take him away. *Maxwell said behind him, walking off* Guard 1: Yes sir!

Guard 1: Quiet demon! *he said, dragging him down the hallway* Guard 2: Shut it, demon! Your kind is forbidden in these parts!

Maxwell: *he opened his father’s door, entering the room. He grimaced at the sight of his father laying in bed* Hello father. Guard 1&2: *they dragged him down a dark tunnel, stopping at cell that smelled like moss. Throwing him in, they slammed the cell door behind him, both of them waking off* Filthy demons. *one guard muttered*

Maxwell: *he knelt by his father’s side, looking down at him* Father? It’s your son, Maxwell. King: *he coughed before weakly responding* Hello son. As you know, life runs short, and a new heir must take the throne.

Maxwell: *he grimaced at his father’s weakness, sighing* Father, I know it must be hard to give up the throne when you yourself was such a great leader. *he paused, resting his hand in his sword* I don’t know if I’m ready. King: *he smiled weakly, looking at his son* I know you will.

Maxwell: Father.. *he lightly gripped his sword, closing his eyes* The kingdom will rest in my hands. How can I get over things that will change me? Guard 1: *he smacked his hand on the cell bar, glaring at Gold* Quiet! Or I’ll do what I did to other demons who didn’t learn to close their mouth!

King: *he coughed again before weakly saying* You have to not think about it. Think about things that distract you. Even the hardest decisions can affect you, but do your best to not think about it. Guard 1: *he stood up, snatching an iron prod. He glowered at Good before marching over, dipping it in a vat of boiling liquid* You’ll regret speaking, Demon.

Maxwell: *he slowly unsheathed his sword, feeling a hot tear roll down* Thank you, father. Guard 1: *he shook the hot iron prod, removing an excess liquid before storming up to Gold. He smirked before shoving the hot iron prod between the bars, pressing it against Gold’s arm* Filthy demon.

Maxwell: *opening his eyes, he brought his sword down on his father, stabbing him in the chest. He watched his father writher in pain before laying still, eyes glazed open* I’m sorry, father. Guard 1: *he pulled back the hot iron prod, smirking. He watched Gold before pressing it harder, landing it on Gold’s back* The only hell I see is you, demon.

Maxwell: *he left the room, wiping furiously away tears* Guard 1: *he smirked before setting the iron prod down, sitting back down* Now be quiet, demon.

Maxwell: *he walked to the dungeon area, nodding towards the guard* Anything from the demon? Guard 1: Just it’s foul words, sir. *he nodded towards the demon*
