Btw it's in your own opinion. Mine's Goblins vs Dwarves by Philip Reeve. Ik it's a pretty well rated book, but I hated it. There was so much filler, Henwen only existed for plot armour, and at the start, it looked like he was gonna be one of the main characters. Also at one part, it just starts ranting about roads. It bored me so much that I couldn't even manage to read a chapter a day, and the chapters are only like 13 pages. My favourite characters were cheese makers who appeared in one page. Also nothing happened with them. One large portion of the book (the glass tube prison thing) is just filler. Also one death of the book (I won't spoil it, in case any masochists are reading this and want to try it out) is treated as something huge, even though I was super happy bc it was nearly the end of the book. Also the character that it happened to, well, they were in like maybe 30 pages. There was like 300 pages in the book I think. It probably could've been 250 tho. Anyway, I'll probably read a page of it I
