LinkI think Hylics is a hidden gem that is bound to blow up sometime soon. It’s gonna be the next fandom that is miraculously revived (it wasn’t even really living to begin with let’s be honest) by TikTok I can already feel it. Watch in like a month, some edit will blow up and EVERYONE will be on it for like a week or two. Then there will be discourse between people gatekeeping it and the influx of new players. Then the fandom gets an influx of ships and aus and all that cringe fandom stuff. THEN everyone starts hating on it because it’s suddenly a real popular mainstream thing and people hate when they’re perceived as anything but super underground niche edgelords. Trust me guys, I can already see the future unfolding… 💀

LinkOkay maybe I’m just fantasising about this game actually getting a proper active fandom. I don’t think that will actually happen because I feel like Hylics is just too confusing with lots of niche concepts that probably won’t be appealing to a larger audience unfortunately. It’s one of those pieces of media where you have no clue what is going on but you’re here for it! But idk, maybe I’ll be proven wrong who knows 🥲🛸
