I don't have any pets currently but I had a syrian hamster named Charlie quite a few years ago. I don't want any more pets since I can't deal with knowing the fact they're going to die eventually but if I could pick any animal in the world to have as a pet it'd be an otter.
Aw, yeah, I understand that! I love hamsters sm, I've never had one myself but I've been researching hamster care for... like, three-fourish years now?? It's been a bit, I swear I've been obsessed with every pet ever at this point, haha. I'm sorry for your loss, though, losing pets is always rough. I'm terrified of losing my dog, he's my everything and I'm not sure how I'll manage when he's gone :( And oh my gosh! One of my main dream pets would be a mink, which is super closely related to otters, heck yeah!
