I opened my eyes to the sound of birds singing outside my window,the trees where as bright and green as ever and the grass glimmered in the morning sunlight. I hopped out of bed and slid on my slippers,today was going to be an amazing day. I flung my wardrobe open and picked out an outfit for the day. Once I had changed,I put on my brown sandals and placed my slippers next to my bed. Walking to the lounge,I smiled at the birds I could see as I ran past the hallway window. They seemed to smile back.
