Galen is Gabriel (Serling) pet Kitsune. I'll put more info about them later.

OK actual info now: Kitsune in this universe are technically immortal. For the majority of their lives they only ever have 3 tails. The only become kinda mortal, teleport short distances, and become big with all nine tails if they soul-link with a mortal creature. Galen has soul linked with Gabriel (Serling). It's considered a huge honer to be soul-linked with a Kitsune, as they basically get an overly protective puppy/kitten. When soul-linked the kitsune gets a shape on it's head, and some of it's fur changes to match whoever their soul-linked with. (Galen now has the same gold color Gabriel (Serling) has on his scales.)

Galen is a fire based kitsune. When he grows in high, (about the size of a two-story tall house) their fur gets a magical fire look to it, and they can make their tails fully fire for a short amount of time. As being big takes a lot of energy and they can only hold the form for around 10-15 minutes.
