i havent drawn her in a good ref way, but uh she has black hair, grey eyes, a teal jacket very highly detailed (patches, many colors, patterns, etc), green shirt, black under shirt, black shorts.

what kind of setting would you find your oc in most of the time?
she mainly is in the streets, bars (illegally...), and forests tbh other then her house and everything
hera is normally found in forests with my lovely spiderflies... she studies them and hangs around them

Kai-Ming blinked a tiny bit, most light she was sensitive to. She stared ar the woman for a moment.
it's aight!))
she was sitting on the ground and looking down.... the giggles of the lights were the only sound coming from the area

She took a sigh and walked toward the lights, and the girl.

her head was lightly swaying from side to side.... as you walked closer, the lights had wings like a butterfly's, six little legs and small smiling faces
She was surprised by the fact that the lights were most likely living things.
the small giggles they made, made them seem even cuter than they already were
the girl looked at her with a soft expression then got distracted by one of the little bugs hovering over her nose
"ooo" she seemed as if she was also taking notes of sorts.... she was completely harmless by the looks of her
Kai-Ming took a few steps toward her, despite her harmless looks Kai-Ming was still a bit worried.
the woman's voice was soft, and quiet "i think i'm going to call you.... Julie...." after she said that the little thing giggled and spun around a bit
she smiled then looked at Kai-Ming "hm-?.... oh... they're a thing called, Spiderflies..." she looked back at a whole group of them that was in front of her face "a lovely specimen..... wouldn't you agree?"
hera looked at Kai-Ming, smiling, her brown eyes seemingly blue with the soft, pastel blue glow of the spiderflies
she looked back at a small bunch of spiderflies "i've been personally studying these lovelies......." she smiled softly
"i know things about them that others couldn't fathom....." she held up her hand and one of them flew into her palm, then nuzzled her, giggling softly "quite the mischievous bug...."
"mhm...." she nodded "these things see me as a sibling of sorts.... imagine that..." she held the spiderfly in her hand as she stood up
"what does that mean?" she spoke and then stood following after Hera.
"you'll find out...." she kept walking until she reached a small cabin
Kai-Ming felt a bit more worried by her words, but just stayed silent.
she smiled at the little spiderfly that was still in her hand, as she walked into the cabin
"don't be afraid, little one..." her tone of voice was slightly menacing, but she spoke softly to the spiderfly.... it was trembling a little
"i hope you didn't have faith in my caring face for these beauties.... Kai-Ming" she looked at her
"What? Are you going to kill them or something." She spoke in a somewhat joking tone, but a bit of worry also came as she spoke.
"shh.... it'll hear you..." she had a grim smile on her face as Hera put her finger up to her mouth, as a way of shushing Kai-Ming without being near her
she looked at the trembling little spiderfly as she started to close her hand, squishing it
it let out a small scream before dying..... soon the only thing on Hera's gloved hand was glowing, blue blood and a pair of wings
Hera smiled at Kai-Ming "are you hurt anywhere? i hope you don't mide me asking..."
"hm.... well then..... if you wouldn't mind.... cut my arm...." she smiled
she rolled her sleeve up "i just wanna show you something cool.... i'll be fine"
Kai-Ming nodded. She checked her pockets and pulled out a standard pocket knife.
"So uhm where.. where do you want to be.. uhm errm cut other then on the arm?"
"what me scared.. no way!" she smiled, but she was without a doubt scared.
"Anyways uh do I just like cut?"
she nodded "i have spiderfly blood on my hand.... i'm a bit useless"
Kai-Ming anxiously took the knife and cut their arm, but made sure to not go too deep.
she took her hand with the blood on it and started rubbing the cut
the cut healed, pretty fast at that, leaving no visible scar behind
"medicinal purpose.... it may seem brutal, and in-human.... but it's quick, and easy"
"no one can know..... you can tell few people.... i'm afraid they'll be poached till extinction...."
"i do care about them..... deeply.... that's why i live out here.... they're like spiders in their reproduction system.... but insects none-the-less...." she looked at her hand
