hm story that starts out with a kid who tries 2 become a journalist. While i have subplots planned out, Im thinking of the overarching story Like maybe! Kid looks up 2 journalist, but that journalist has been missing 4 many years and that journalist has secret codes in the newspaper, like saying "help me" and the protag learns 2 decode the messages

just. basics!! Still working on it like that journalist would hide the emergency codes in crossword puzzles, articles, etc, whatever comes in the newspaper?

Hello that is my main project lolz!! so. I got the beginning finally pinned down basic plot! select ppl in this world have elemental crystals (btw thats a big history im not going into rn). Main villain of the series grants wishes. but like, twists them up into making it smth shitty. (for instance, u ask her for a cake, she would give u a /spoiled/ cake instead. Even tho in universe, ppl who go 2 her for wishes r for rlly dark or desperate ones) And for price, she corrupts elemental crystals hence, the name is Wish Crystal if that made any sense

Anyways, 4 kids, the main characters, were a VERY close friend group. like. super close. But events between all of them just. kinda broke them up, making MC (priscilla) rlly sad. So on her birthday, prior 2 the story, she makes a wish 2 get her friends together so they can have a happy year yayyyy.

Anyways, this is actually. like, spoilers ig? but im putting it out there MC's bestie (Marz) learns abt the villain n her intents (thx 2 somebody I'll mention later) and pretty much, goes 2 her in secret and "wishes" for Priscillas wish 2 b like. granted? but the price just goes 2 him. so hi, he gets corrupted instead

BUT SHHH U DONT KNOW THAT anyways Priscilla learns that her bestie got corrupted. SO shes like "lol ima help" SO break 2 explain smth, might b shit cuz. Im still developing this part but basically the element crystals have this. magikal blob that guides user and helps them learn abt their crystals (also ties into the crystal history, not getting into that tho). ANYWAYS this "blob" makes Priscilla aware of the issue, along with introducing her 2 the fact she has fire powers. heres the thing Priscilla has a fear/past with fire, so she has 2 get over that! yayyyyyyyy

Anyways, thats pretty much the beginning plot. Basically, the whole thing is that Priscilla/Pink Flare is on a hunt 2 purify all corrupted crystals. there is more but im tired plz laugh at my garbage /hj

also should mention. the group does get back together!!
