The Demise: The epidemic or sickness causing the Zombie-Apocalypse-like state of the world. When someone is infected, The Demise takes about an hour to overtake the resident. The bite or injury where the resident has been infected starts bleeding profusely, making it hard for the victim to stop the infection. After much blood is lost, the victim’s veins become black or purple, starting from the wound and spreading to the rest of the body. This is when the victim starts to lose control. Random spasms or screams will escape, becoming more frequent the further they spread. This all takes around 40-45 minutes. Once the infection reaches the brain, the victim loses control completely. They become eternally hungry for human blood or flesh, wanting to replace their own. Unlike most zombies in movies, these creatures of The Demise are relatively fast, but when walking they amble jerkily around, occasionally making a grunt. When running - especially towards a creature or other person - will growl or yell, sometimes

sometimes able to talk but fumble with their words.

Clans/Groups: Throughout time, the remaining people have formed groups out of the people they trust.

Genocide Group: These are commonly filled with those who have lost their minds. They aim to kill anything and everything, finding it a sport. They are ruthless and cruel, and very rambunctious. Unlike the other groups, they don’t try to be quiet, so if you hear yelling and laughing, that’s most likely them. Heptonide Group: These are those who are just there. They are there to survive, and tend to act like a family. These are commonly made up of the Misanthropes who have joined together. They are strong and smart, but are still kind. They use what they have and try best as they can not to waste anything they have. Chasseurs: These are the ones who will go out to try and rid the world of Demise. They are strong brave; the warriors of the land. They are sneaky and silent, and tend to stay in groups instead of staying in a pack. Misanthropes: These are also known as loners. They stay away from anyone or anything at almost any cost, and very rarely trust others.

Rules: -NO godmodding! (meaning no controlling other characters. You may suggest things, but no forcing anything.) -Stay in character. If you are wanting to ask something, space down a little and put it in parenthesis -Keep up with your characters. You may have more than one, but please keep track of them. -Be kind. I don’t mean while roleplaying, your character is allowed to be a jerk, but be nice to other players. -If you wish to leave (for good, not just for the day) I will have you killed off or infected. -If you are leaving for the day, have your character go to sleep, or head off to find food. -Most importantly, have fun!

Okay, you guys may start!

Alastor waders around, a grey North Face backpack on his right shoulder. His black hoodie seemed to make him look even more pale, and his hair - pulled back in a ponytail as usual - seemed messy. A few loose curls of his bangs hung to his chin, and he tried to be as quiet as he could with the leaves of fall dotting the ground. His knees were bloodied through his ripped blue jeans, and he winced as he walked. A few minutes of walking, he found a rabbit with a broken leg, caught in one of his snares. Smiling, he walked to it, but stopped short when he heard someone rummaging near him.

Alastor pulls out a gun, pointing it around. He hears the sword and turns to Rouge, pointing at her head. "Who are you?" He barks sternly.

Alastor hears the gun, and his eyes turn red. "Who are you?" He repeats.

His eyes start to flicker from orange to red, them back. "Friend or foe?" He asks.

His eyes flicker back to blue. "I will treat you how you treat me." He says.

"I have some in my bag, and I just caught a fresh rabbit." Phoenix says, putting his gun in his hoodie pocket. He then pulls out a small bag of what seems to be beef jerky.

He nods, handing her the jerky and gathering a few pieces of wood for the fire. "What's that you're humming?" Phoenix asks Scorp, putting the wood together.

(oh pffft yeah XD Sorry, I'm multitasking) Alastor smiles. "I know that one..." He says, almost to himself as he lights the fire.

Alastor straightens as the fire lights. "I stay around here. It's where I've been for the past four years. It's been pretty smooth for me." He tells her, adding under his breath, "Until today."

(pfft- sounds like a me move XD) "Ah, nothin'" He says, quickly avoiding the question as he ducks down to skin the rabbit.

He sighs. "Well... doesn't matter now. Can't change it." He says, avoiding eye contact.

He fills his face burning, and tears start to run down his face. He quickly wipes them away. "Damn smoke..." He growls.

"I said it's nothing!" He snaps, turning to face her. "I- shoot... sorry..."

He sighs. “It’s not your fault...” he mutters, turning the rabbit so it would cook evenly.

After the rabbit cooks, he splits it with Scorp.

He shrugs, pulling out a bag and putting half the rabbit in it, then putting it back in the North Face backpack. "Okay then." He takes a bite out of the rabbit and pushes some dirt on the fire. "So, where you guys from?" (They're in Kansas btw)

He nods. "I was born in Michigan, but I left when the Demise got worse. I think it's still the worst there."

He nods again. "Yeah, too many people, not enough supplies." He pauses for a second before adding, "That's where my sister was from."

He shook his head, the sighed shakily. "She came for me... She knew I was coming here... But someone... got to her." He said, not making eye contact.

He shrugs. "Not your fault." He says simply, then tosses the rest of the rabbit away in the woods - since it was only bones.

He sighs, getting up and walking towards the woods, then looks up at the dusk sky. "Gettin' dark..."

He looks back at Scorp with a gaze of fear, anger, and loss. "I don't work with anyone." He growls, climbing up a thick tree, and crawling into a large hole near the top.

He looks down at Scorp, muttering to himself. "I wish I could work with them..." His eyes trail from Scorp to Rogue. "But it'll happen again..."

He growls something, then the tree starts to glow red, and black spiked rocks shoot out of the ground. "Crap!" He snaps.

He peeks out of the tree to make sure no one was hurt.

Alastor teleports down to Scorp. "Sorry. Got angry, and since I'm part demon, it does stuff. Bye now!" He teleports back into the tree. (God Alastor - why you such an @$$)

He sighs, falling asleep. Stella strides between the tall, thick trees of Kansas, bloodied axe in hand. "I'm SUCH a Genocide." She giggles, swinging her axe and splattering still warm blood around. (She was the cause of the scream earlier) She kicks up leaves, not caring who - or what - hears her.

She looks around for another victim. "Yoo-hoo! Anyone around? Help, it's after me!" She calls in a pitiful vioce, hoping to lure someone. (Dude, I'm listening to Disconnected now its fricking cool)

(XD Its fine... me too) "Help!" She calls again, sniffing the air for anyone around. Alastor teleports down beside Rogue, putting his arm over her. "Shh."

Alastor becomes a form of smoke, gliding beside her. Stella giggles, flying upwards into the depths of the trees.

Alastor forms into a black wolf.

(Back XD And @ShadowMAB11 I would like that) Stella turns her head and sees Rogue. "Well hello there!" She says sweetly.

Alastor darts over and grabs Scorp. "No!"

Alastor pulls him down to the ground. Stella's ears flick as she hears them below her, but keeps her eyes on Rogue.

(kk. I'ma be on and off bc of school) Stella flies over to Rogue. "Lookin' for somethin'?" Alastor looks at Scorp. "Stay here."

"Hmm... You remind me of the Misanthropes..." She giggles. Alastor jumps.

"Oh really?" Stella laughs, pulling out her axe. Alastor lets go. "Fine. Kill yourself. See if I care." (Gtg see you tomorrow.)

Stella swings her axe at Rogue, smiling evilly. Alastor glares at Scorp before walking a few feet away, gun in hand.

Stella growls, turning to face her. "Stupid Misanthrope, stay still!" She swings it again, wings flapping.

"You're a waste of oxygen. Let me put an end to your misery. Trust me, it's for the best. I'm doing you a favor." She growls, pushing against the sword.

Alastor stays on the ground, muttering curses.

(oh hecc she feisty XD) Stella stumbles slightly in the air, growling as she regains her flight pattern. "You little-" She turns to face her again. Alastor - still on the ground - looks up, hearing Rogue's outburst. "Oh man..." He growls.

Stella feels a sharp pain in her arm as the scythe pierces into her forearm. "Mother-" She growls, turning to Scorp and knocking him against a tree, flying out of his reach.

She turns back to Rogue, snarling.

Stella howls in pain, looking down as her black blood drips down her calf. She swings her axe at Rogue, grazing her hand

Stella hears it fire and is able to dodge it, the bullet flying swiftly through her ear. She hisses in pain, her green eyes turning black as she flies away. "I'll be back..." She yells back, disappearing out of sight.

Alastor is nowhere to be seen.

"Hey, easy there..." Someone says from a few feet off, seemingly from behind a large oak tree.

(brb lunch)

Alastor's voice is heard. "Wh... OW! Hey, easy!" He growls. The other voice starts to speak. "Oh- sorry..."

A human-like figure is knelt down beside Alastor. The ears on the top of his head are black, and his eyes are black holes with colored pupils that are blue. (gtg)

The new guy holds up his hands in front of him, as if surrendering. "Woah, hey..." He said, looking at Scorp, then to Rogue. "I'm a friend. He got hit by something that came from the sky, and I'm just here to help." He says. Alastor nods. "Don't worry, he's nice enough..." Alastor says, but his eyes seem uneasy.

The guy smiles, pouring a strong smelling liquid on Alastor's burns. Alastor winces, but doesn't say anything. After the guy puts up the bottle, he stood up and looked to Rogue, extending his hand. "My name's Phoenix, member of the Heptonides." He says, smiling.

He smiles, looking at his hand. "Y'know, it's a little rude to leave me hangin'..." he teases. (I think I've gotta leave, so I'll see you tomorrow.)

He smiles, then turning to Scorp and extending his had again. (I'll stay on as long as I can tho)

He smiles at the both of them. "Let me guess: you three are Misanthropes?"

He nods at Scorp. "Ah, I see." He chuckles at Rogue's response. "Defensive."

He chuckles. "Yeah, well, I've become a little more lenient." He says, giving her a wink.

Alastor nods, getting up. "I'm fine." He says.

Alastor looks up at the star filled sky. "We should head somewhere for the night... They'll start coming out..."

Alastor turns to Phoenix. "Er- you can come if you'd like." Phoenix shrugs. "Sure, why not? You know somewhere?" Alastor nods, and starts to walk.

(Hey @JackyChanSempia you can join whenever you want to ^^) They walk into the woods, and Alastor leads them to a kudzu covered log cabin.

(man XD its fine though) Alastor looks over at Phoenix, who is looking around, confused. "Why'd we stop?" He asks. "We're here." Alastor says matter-of-factly. Phoenix gives him a confused look. Alastor sighs, walking over to the cabin and pulling off some of the kudzu to reveal the door.

Alastor nods.

He looks between the three of them, then to the cabin. "I've been camping here for almost all four years of me being here, and I have found it surprisingly safe and no one yet has found it besides me." He says.

Phoenix walks to the door and tries to open it. "It's locked..." He says, looking to Alastor. Alastor closes his eyes and teleports somewhere else, and after a few seconds, the door opens.

The small cabin is noticeably larger when you walk in. There is a small couch, in fairly good condition, a radio in the back, and a dim light coming from an oil lamp.

Alastor walks in after Phoenix, locking the door behind him and then lays on the couch beside Rogue.

(Man ;-;) Alastor sighs, closing his eyes and quietly humming a tune.

"You know you need a fix when you fall down. You know you need to find a way to get you through another day; let me be the one to numb you out. Let me be the one to hold you, never gonna let you get away..." Alastor sings along.

He smiles, eyes still closed.

Alastor looks up at him, eyes showing confusion and surprise. "I... Don't really know." He lies.

He looks around before closing his eyes again. "Personally, I don't see why it matters." He says nonchalantly.

Alastor, glad to get off the subject, sighs and falls halfway asleep. Meanwhile, Phoenix starts inspecting things. He picks up a broken mirror piece, looking at himself in it. "Huh... Did my hair always stick up like that?" He mutters.

Phoenix turns around and faces Scorp, looking hurt. "Yes; yes I am. If I die, I wanna look good." He chuckles.

He chuckles again. "Makes sense."

Alastor starts talking in his sleep, not making sense, and ends up falling over onto Rogue.

"Aww~" Phoenix teases quietly, laughing.

Alastor remains asleep, still muttering. Alastor giggles again.

(Imao I'm dying) Alastor shifts again, muttering, "No... Leave... Alone... Ryan..." Phoenix wipes a tear from his eye, still giggling.

Alastor jumps up, yelling in something foreign. He pants, looking around before realising he wasn't where he thought, and then sat back down, flustered.

Alastor looks to the ground. "N-nothin..."

Alastor runs his hands through his hair, now wet with sweat. "I'll be... back..." he says shakily.

He chuckles shakily, walking upstairs and running a bath. Water, surprisingly, still ran warm, and he hopped in.

Phoenix suppresses a giggle. "Y'know, you two would be kinda cute." He says.

Phoenix flicks his bobtail, his wings contracting. "Hey, hey, easy now." He whimpers. He looks to Scorp. "You've got a point. Although I still ship." He added the last part quietly

Phoenix winks at Scorp.

(oh did I? Sorry, I'll fix it)

Phoenix giggles, twitching his ears. Alastor walks back in the room, a towel in his hand. "Uhm... What happened?" He asked.

He blushes

Alastor pulls the towel into his hair, covering his face in the process. Phoenix chuckles. "Ooooh~"

"Hey, HEY!" He snarls, shoving her off. Alastor gives a little gasp, teleporting between them.

"Rogue... Rogue come back!" Alastor calls, running after her.

Alastor walks out with her, jogging to keep up. "Rogue..."

Alastor keeps up. "Please... I'm..." He stops. "I'm sorry..."

"...Yeah..." He looks around, his face sullen

He stays still, turning around on the spot.

He sits in the woods, looking around for her.
