So like. Why do people make fun of fandoms people are in like?? "Dsmp is so problematic" yeah it is but so is any other fandom. I know there's a lot of furries here and that includes me, parts of our fandom are really really bad. But that doesn't mean the whole thing is bad. Like sure, Dream is a ****ed up person and I don't support him. But that doesn't mean you can't still enjoy the storyline to the dsmp. Like its kind of a shitty thing that its call the "dream" smp but theres nothing we can really do about it. The only fandom I can think of right now is alfreds playhouse. Like I wouldn't make fun of a fandom. But that fandom genuinely makes me uncomfortable.

So basically what I'm saying is that I don't think people should make fun of people in problematic fandoms when theirs is not perfect either

I just used furry and dsmp as examples because I'm in both of them this applies with other fandoms! I just couldn't really think of any when writing this other than those
