“One day when I was young I came home and saw my family dead, and something so atrocious and horrible standing above their corpse. I couldn’t move, no matter how hard I pushed my self. However when I closed my eyes I felt lighter, no long frozen in terror, I grabbed a kitchen knife and killed the thing. I now suppress my eyesight so I never have to experience fear again.”
