if you're making characters poc, gay, trans, or disabled just because you think theres too many of the majority, then you're not actually making them with the right intention of representation in mind. you're not making them with the intent of spreading more representation to those with no voices, you're doing it out of spite against white cishets and it's quite honestly not good!!

And I'm saying this as a, once again, gay trans person with learning disabilities. i don't want empty representation, whether its thrown in there because you hate white people or because you just want to seem more diverse I make poc queer disabled characters because I enjoy it, and i hope one day i can make a story that little kids can see it and feel like they have heroes to relate to. That they have someone to see themselves in. Not because I want to get back at those "NASTY cishet ****os!!!" **** you and your performative wokeness
