how would they know i had autism if they were testkng for adhd? its a spectrum so theres a lot of different parts to it.
Actually; most diagnosis appointments only focus on the one thing that is being looked at. for example if you go in to see if you have adhd, autism isnt going to be looked at.

I understand autism is on a spectrum but you don't need lab testing to identify someone who has autism
its not lab testing, theres a book called dsm 5 that psychiatrists use to diagnose Mental Illnesses based off of symptoms that are physically obvious or that the patient experiences often.
this book gets updated every 5-7 years so they can add or remove symptoms if they need to.
Yea and doctors are trained to identify someone with autism off the bat without pulling out a big magic book of retardness to find that out

it is a spectrum, as mentioned previously, the book has many symptoms listed so the doctor can diagnose the person properly, its not just "haha yeah you have autism uwu"
yes there are very obvious signs that someone can be autistic but that doesnt mean everyone with autism has the same exact severity or symptoms.

Trust me I get you being a looser and not having anyone that genuinely cares for you so you want to get with any group that'll take you in ( even if it's taboo) and in your case it's autistic people but just be who you are man, just accept the fact you aren't different and you're normal just like everyone else
No one is "trying" to have autism, you arent understanding. so many people go undiagnosed due to their parents not believing in mental illnesses, and its genetics. trust me, no one WANTS to have some mental disorder that can heavily cripple your social life and ruin things for you, the only people who do that are kids who dont understand.

In maxis case her guardian presumably took (it) to get diagnosed for ADHD, ADHD and autism go hand and hand if the doctors thought (it) had autism they'd definitely would have killed two birds with one stone in the process.
