LinkTwix I am gonna expose you. First of all it bugs me how you go on other people's comment chains an comment on them using YOUR OWN comment. I assume you do this for attention because most people do not pity for you. You are one of the most basic ass *****es I have ever met. To be honest if you were to kill yourself I wouldn't care.

LinkAnd it means a lot when you use depression as one of your mental disorders and you still use it as a joke. You said to me exactly that you don't know if you're depressed. Depression is not something you just get from not having friends or being abused. It happens mentally. You get it when you usually go through puberty or when you hit middle school.

LinkOkay but no that's not how you get depression. Someone can get depression at any time in their lives, because all it is is when your chemicals are imbalanced. Depressive episodes are more common in teens because their hormones are already broken, but it doesn't just happen when you step into middle school or shave for the first time.

LinkI was trying to make sure your facts were e correct. What, is scientific accuracy less important than insulting someone? Also, yes being abused can give you depression, and so can loneliness. It predisposes you for those issues later in life or even at that specific point.
Soooo... Sorry I shot your argument to pieces I guess, do some research next time.

LinkBut that also means something else. Now here is something. Depressed people usually spend time alone not on some website for kids where there is more than 100,00 users on this website. It makes no sense. And usually from my point of view I think depressed people don't want friends and they would be smart enough not to go on a website because usually early in their life they could have got raped or molested or bullied/cyberbullied on the internet.

What do you mean you ‘ think depressed people don’t want friends ‘ If you are making a point about something at least be sure about your facts.
And you never know maybe they do want friends and they are sitting alone behind a computer because the don’t want to see people physically but feel more comfortable talking to people over the computer.
You never know.
sorry for possibly annoying you
What the other people said, depressed people can, but don't always, seclude themselves from social contact, but it is in no way required to be depressed. A lot of depressed people can also have anxiety about talking to people in real life, because they're scared to mess up or if they have that excessive guilt that a lot of depressed people have. Online they have much less anxiety because of the anonymity the internet provides them and how impersonal it can be.
But ok I guess I'm not Real Depressed even though I have many of the symptoms because i have friends.
