LinkI didn't tell any of you guys but when I was at my mum's work these workers were cutting some branches. One of them came to us and he had a baby bird/chick in his hands.
We feed it and yesterday my mum realized that we had to feed it every single hour. So we did. We feed it soaked, mushed up cat food because we searched up what the bird (it was a baby sparrow) would eat.
This morning I tried feeding it but it wouldn't? I was a bit confused, sure that it was hungry. So I laid it in its nest and it fell asleep. We went out this morning to get
school stuff like lunch boxes. We came home and ye. My brother and younger sister tried feeding it but it was asleep.
They left to go to the pool (Me and my older sis didn't want to go).
My older sister checked on it to see if it was awake.
She came to me and said she thinks it might be dead.
I went to where the chick was and grabbed it. It was cold.
I knew that it had died. I was so close to crying. We buried it in our garden.

LinkMy older sister has just texted my mum that the baby bird is dead.
My hands still smell like cat food (Everybody else freaking forgot to feed it so I was the one who feed it. My younger sister forget to feed it at one of the hours. About like an hour later I went in to check the bird and I realized IT HADN'T BEEN ****ING FEED.
I don't think it my younger sister's thought tho. Me and my older sis thought it died was because that we didn't feed it though the night since we were asleep. idk... thats what we thought :'(((

unfortunately thats what happens when u try to keep wild baby birds without their mama
they cant live without their normal diet of partially digested bugs. i know this is kinda mean but it was kind of foolish of u to keep the birb. :( at least if it was left outside, it would fulfill its destiny in the food chain. (this is still sad tho)
