Bc once, when I was six, I got my ears pierced, and my dad didn't take care of them for me so they got infected, and my sister had to pull the earrings out bc my ears were eating them, I was also allergic to the artificial silver they were using, so now I have pure silver earrings
So, if you were thinking about half-assing your ears? I hope I scared you into taking care of them
