Higrinmon are a wind-virus type digimon, they live on islands in caves for the most of the year. They only come out during mating season,to hunt, or if their habitat has been threatened by a bigger stronger digimon. They live in groups of 7-10 with the leader being the biggest and usually gets the best pick for a mate. The larger the gem on their head is the more likely they get a Good mate ( females do not have gems, males do)

Higrinmon are the smallest know species of digimon on the inlin islands ( where all these digimon will be from) Making them easy prey for larger species.

Higrinmon are know to be surprisingly friendly towards humans, the reason is unknown.
