*The Chronicles Of Laced* Once upon a time, Ferret and I emailed each other the events of what would happen if two of our characters, Lacie and Red met each other. In the end, Lacie had ripped out Red's eye and they both had extreme distrust of each other (red's eye was returned) Ever since, there has been a running inside joke with Ferret and I that wherever Red is outside of the canon, Lacie must be there, and vice versa. This has lead to many different interactions in which Lacie and Red are seen together. Mostly because of how similar they are, as well as the email chain. After a year of these happenstances, I proposed the idea of a ship between them (an AU one of course) and idea which Ferret promptly dismissed. Flash forwards, to the edgy OCs turned wholesome post that Ferret made, and she found herself making ship art of Red and Lacie (who are very edgy) and found herself finally falling for their newfound ship And so, it was born
