Ok prompt- You(r oc) recently discovered a tiny humanoid, and without much other thought, put them in an old terrarium. (They were gonna use it for a project but whatever.) You(r oc) had taken a small bag from the small thing before setting it in the terrarium. You(r oc) have(has) no idea if this thing is sentient or not, it isn’t acting like it is. Eventually you(r oc) starts muttering about what to do about this thing, and eventually says something about food, that makes the little thing react. WWYD?

Simon: *Tries (and fails) to act like he can't understand a word.*

Simon: *Hesitantly takes a cracker after a moment and nibbles on it a little.*

Simon: *Stops to glare at Hex, before quickly going back to eating.*

Simon: *Huffs annoyed, like it should have been obvious he hated being trapped sooner.*

Simon: "Has a look on his face that says "Do you really need to ask?!", before nodding his head.*

Simon: *Instinctively backs up a little, shaking his head and mumbling to himself a little.*

((Aww <3)) Simon: *Checks the ladder's stability a little, before for climbing it, and sitting on part of the top of the terrarium.*

Simon: *Sits there for a moment, before his eyes land on his bag that was lied down on the counter/desk/dresser/nightstand ((take your pick lol)) top. And the it's clear from his body language he's thinking about jumping off the terrarium to get down and get his bag...*

((Ohhhh)) Simon: *Glances to the side nervously.* "I... just need the bag." *Says quietly*

Simon: *Snatches the bag, before digging into it and pulling out a fishing hook with sting (it's a lot of string and kinda looks like multi colored rope) at the end. He pulls out some more that's neatly looped around the top of a big-ish thumb tack, (The pointed part looks like it broke off some time ago).*

((Context real quick if you don't know, borrowers aren't suppose to mention anything about their species because the fact that very few or none know about them helps them with survival)) Simon: *Begins to unravel the thumb thumb tack.* "I don't need help," *his voice just above a whisper,* "And my hook's nothing special, every borro-" *Bites his tongue, cutting himself off, as he begins to more quickly unravel the thread.*

((ok :3)) Simon: *Sighs deeply, rather glad that he's not being asked about why he'd cut himself off. And, finishes unraveling his 'rope' (the thread), tossing it over the side and placing the fish hook on the side of the terrarium. He tugs it a few times, and slides down when he's sure it won't slip off.*

((Hello I exist on here again :) also is the desk warn & old/made of wood or like something else??)) Simon: *Once he's on the desk he flicks the thread, casing a little ripple to knock the hook off the side of the terrarium. and catching it with practiced precision. Before, glancing slightly at Hex, and wondering over to the farthest edge of the desk to judge if his makeshift rope was long enough to get him down.*

((Sorry! I was out thrifting all day =w="" also ok :3)) Simon: *Huffs, seeing his thread rope was too short and there wasn't enough/any groves in the wood for him to climb down.* "As much as I don't want... help," *Slightly glares at Hex a bit as he starts wounds the tread around the thumb tack,* "But your stupid desk is tall, so I guess I may need it." *mumbles the last part.*

((👍)) Simon: *Glances off to the side, mentally debating if he should talk or not.*

Simon: *Huffs and crosses his arms, and narrows his eyes at them.*

Simon: *Chucks the piece of bread at the other side of the terrarium, not trusting the food isn't poisoned, and sicks his tongue out at Max.*

((Yo, what kinda cookie? Yes this is important.)) Simon: *Turns away from them.*

((Ok, just needed to know because Simon's like addicted to Oreos, and only Oreos.)) Simon: *Crosses his arms and mumbles something along the lines of "I don't want it".*

((:0 your so evil)) Simon: *Perks up, is attention nearly solely on the box of Oreos.* "I want one." *Whisper-mumbles and nods his head*

((Haha, I had to go check how big Oreos are compared to Simon for this part lol)) Simon: *Eagerly takes the Oreo, having a mildly hard time holding it as it's 1 & 3/4 his height (he's 6 inches tall); before humming and nodding when asked if Oreos are his favorite. And, starts to break bits off so he can eat it.*

Simon: *Is somehow done with like half the Oreo and is still going at it, nods his head happily as he continues to stuff more of the cookie into his mouth with a smile on his face. Probably having completely forgotten he's still stuck in the terrarium.*
