Your oc has s o m e connection to Lucas. One day, while he was at work and you were watching TV, and emergency broadcast came on, showing the place he worked had been put on fire. People who had made it out first were being taken care of, but you didnt see Lucas among them. While a reporter was talking, however, you saw Lucas getting carried out of the building behind him. He was unconscious, and covered in wounds and ashes, and he was taken into an ambulance. Your oc immediately decided to go to the hospital to see if he was okay.
