LinkThis is a new alternate universe I have created where Monster is no longer here. This causes Eragon to go into an endless cycle of wanting him to come back. This isn't canon to the normal universe I have been focusing on. Even though this event is canon to the original story, it wasn't to the extent of where Monster died.
