uhm!!! both actually?? when yall name grades it isn't like,,, uh freshman is 9th grade or anything like that?? im... educate me lmao
ya ! so like u’ve got kindergarten and then prep ( which is kinda like preschool ?? idk ) and then there’s grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 , and then grade 7 is the start of high school and then it just goes up ( grade 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 )
with the school year you’ve got a 6 week break from the previous year to the next year ( the dates are different for every state tho ) . after that you’ve got 10 weeks for term 1 and then a 2 week break, repeat that twice and then 10 more weeks for term 4 and another 6 week break .
it’s bc in australia christmas is over summer so we get a long christmas break lol
