Linkmountain raptors, as the name says, live high in the mountains away from others in kingdoms and villages. every year, in the middle of winter, adult males develop tail fans to find themselves a mate, and once they find a special someone, they cannot part, or choose a different one once chosen. horns can be in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. most are not capable of magic by themselves. they are used to the simple life, hunting for their favorite food, snails. surprisingly, they will head into caves to harvest these small, yet delicious to them, treats. though if they don't find snails, they will eat fish, some berries(when meet is scarce) and overall anything they can find. sometimes, some will go down into the forests to look for food to bring back. the ears are actually not made of any tissue, it just long hairs, so when a predator attempts to grab them by the ears, they will just rip off fur. the ear canals are actually just like a lizards. any questions?
Are they cold blooded? Like many reptiles, do they cluster eggs? What is the difference between most males and females? Why a monarchy?
these guys are cold blooded, but to survive the cold, they have pits in their sides, which induce heat throughout the body. they only have one, to two eggs, so no. females tend to be smaller, thinner, thus to escape predators, and they are less likely to be horned. the monarchy is to keep order within the original herds. that way you don't have someone constantly battling the alpha of said herd.
Interesting, What is there social behaviors like? Who are their allies? Is it common for them to stick to their own species?
it is quiet common for them to stick to their own species, but there has been some that have been outcasted that looked into other species. social behaviors depends on there line in the pecking order, the lowest tend to be skittish, and highest will be unafraid to approach you. they don't have many allies, but they do have allies to some so they can get exports and imports.
When monarchs come into play, do they respect the rules? Is their society healthy? How did they gain access to the Dutch kingdom? (Sorry if these seems like too many questions)
(no its fine bro-) some kingdoms do, then theres some who are tyrants to their kingdoms. and that all depends on which kingdom you go to. to be honest on that last one... i have no idea-
(Now I imagine them just ascending to the clouds lmao) How tall is their species? I'd imagine with very little nutrients in food, they wouldn't evolve to be that big in most cases. Why are they on the mountains?
sense snails are treats, they hunt fish and deer very often. so they do actually grow to sizes of an average person. (lets say 6 foot) the mountains have little habitants of other tribes and such, yet you have easy access to see your enemies from above so they have a advantage.

Do most Raptors see the sea? Did they evolve in such a way that they cannot swim, or have buoyancy? What do they think of the Dutch species?
they tend to think of the dutch species as like something was made from gods. they feel honored to be in the presence with someone in the sky. some can swim, but they've only seen frozen lakes and rushing rivers. not the ocean, they think of it as a myth, a legend.
(hmm, what if I brought back my Dutch-sub species? I made them awhile back, but they are from the ocean. We can make an adventure about that.)
After the chaos from the Fenrift, how is the kingdom doing? What do most of the civilians think about their leader now? Is it confusion, anger, or untrust?
the cilivians.. they are confused, they thought the royal family only had one son. but due to fenrift's sudden lash out, they are more welcoming to them and kinda just..forgot about him. but they do have stories, and they call him the ice prince.

hmm, I've mentioned before (in white board), that the Sea-Crowned beetle is a trade on the coast right? After Fenrift recovers, we (Silver, and maybe Ivy) can help his mind off things. Like buying new beetle species at the market for him. What do you think?
