But I see nothing wrong with someone being interested in someone else’s culture as long as there not disrespectful about it
some people are a little bit too obsessed with japanese culture to the point where they're sexualizing / babying them etc
if you go on tiktok and you see one japanese or even a korean person they're all like " irl anime boy!! " or " so cute <3 <3 "
how would you feel if you were japanese and a bunch of people obsessed over you and your culture simply because of anime or something?
I guess I'll stop calling myself a weeb/aussie/koreaboo now.
