Roopelt looked at the shadows smeared across the ground. Noon. The kits should be here by now, ready for their first day training to be a warrior. He curled his tail around and wiped his eyes as he had waited for what seemed like ages.

"Arrgh, finally! I've been waiting for ages for you kits!" Roopelt bellowed, exasperated from the eons he's been waiting for. "You kits better- wait, where are the others?"

"I told them to be here before midday but- nevermind." He grunted as he looked down at his claws. He hadn't sharpened them because he wanted to show the kits how to sharpen them, so they looked all gritty and rough. - - They both waited a while, but after what seemed like lifetimes the others finally arrived. Roopelt stood in front of them all like a lion gazing upon his kingdom, and studied their appearances. The one on the far left was red, with orange and tan lines crawling up his back and shoulders. He seemed scrawnier than the others. The one in the middle was the one who'd arrived the earliest. She was a dark grey with white spots dappled on her coat, and a cute little moon marking on the side of her stomach. The last one, on the far right, was big and proud, probably the alpha of his litter, with big broad shoulders and a grey coat with a white chest. "Right, kits," Roopelt shouted with a posh accent. "Today is going to be a magnificent day, because today is your first day training to be a w

warrior! Do you understand?"
