I watch that one woman who does dolls like her name is dollify right If I ever got into making dolls I’d spend hours making just the hairstyles YOU HAVE NOOO IDEA how many hairstyles I have in my head

Also when I was younger right I didn’t think that when I saw people w/ boxbraids locs or wigs I thought it was there real hair but I never like saw it as a negative because I thought using other materials in your hair was creative cool Like those bow barrettes and I never understood why people said “your head is made out horse hair” as a insult until much later on

Also with boxbraids i always saw people who put beads at the end of them, LIKE ISN’T THAT COOL? when I got older I didn’t see it as much anymore but there’s also those gold pieces I always see girls wear

There’s no need for a thank you, but I do wish more artists tried and experimented more with black hairstyles Unfortunately I only really see other black artists themselves draw all types of hairstyles associated with the culture Dollightful is one of my biggest inspirations ANYONE can do black hairstyles or other cultural fashion and she wants to represent everyone She makes dolls mostly on her YouTube but I’m sure she posts her art on different platforms
