I think the lion king remake looks very good. “Oh but what about the fact that there’s no emotions blablabla” Because they’re supposed to look like real lions, real hyenas, real warthogs. Do you ever see a lion laughing, or swinging from a purple vine? No. And these people aren’t looking hard enough. They’re those dumb people who can’t recognise emotion in animals. I can recognise plenty of facial expressions from the footage I’ve seen. When the stampede starts, Simba looks worried, his eyes widen and he tenses up. In one clip, the hyenas are backing away from something with their heads low and vision up. Obviously scared. And there’s loads more too. But for some reason people think there’s no emotion just because they’re not exaggerated? Seriously? And oh, about the vibrant colours, do you walk outside and see purely bright green grass? Is the grass blue at night? No! T
