demons plunge skyward and doves fly below the earth. their wings are buried in dirt and maggots claw through their flesh and feathers. the laughter of a dying man is a sound so beautiful yet it tears at the flesh of heart. the witch has ravaged the world and left no living thing intact. to live a life of normality this witch demands everything from the world, proclamations of a desire for the world to simply be happy spew from her lips like poison. the world gives everything away, eager to please and desperate to leave behind the dark of the hole in its chest. truly it is a selfish being for giving it all for a temporary happiness. no, there is no more happiness. the world has long since given it away, and it will always be out of reach.
