Parker’s mom abandoned her when she was only 2, for she didn’t want any more weight on her shoulders. Her father on the other hand was most likely a player, and was literally never there for her. She was left all alone to die on the streets, when luckily, a young woman found her and brought her to an orphanage. If she hadn’t found her, she was most likely gonna die from hunger. The owner of the orphanage, Miss Yukina, an old lady with a big heart, greeted her with open arms. Even though that, Parker was made fun of by the other kids as she grew older. She stayed at the orphanage for about 4 years, before being adopted by a single mother, in which she already had a biological child named Raiden. Raiden was only 2 years older than her, so the two got along nicely and treated themselves as real siblings. She didn’t exactly have a last name, so she took the same last name as her adoptive mother and brother, West. When Parker got to school (about 2 weeks after being adopted), Raiden would always stick close to

her and defend her from bullies. That inspired Parker to learn how to fight and defend herself, knowing that Raiden won’t be able to save her each time she runs into trouble. When they got to highschool (Parker was 13 (almost 14) and Raiden was 15 at the time), she became a target of a group of 4 players, since she was one of the few girls that didn’t fall for their tricks. She knew not to thanks to her best friend from primary school, Zoey. The boys kept following her and flirting with her until she had enough and humiliated them in front of a big crowd of students. Ever since that incident, they avoided her and tried getting their reputation back to normal. They all did except for one, Ethan. He was against ‘’breaking’’ her heart and using her as a toy from the beginning, but ever since she humiliated them and destroyed their reputation, he started picking on her and bullying her like; putting liquid glue on her hair, making her get detention by provoking her in class, making her trip every time she passes

by him, and so much more. It slowly became a war between these two, especially with Parker trying hard to avenge herself each time he strikes. Months passed and something changed. Parker was walking back home, but on her way there, a black cat hopped out of nowhere and left a golden sparkly trail. Out of curiosity, she followed the trail. She was following it for about half an hour, then realised she was in a forest, one in which she never saw before. The cat stood there, with a necklace in it’s mouth. Parker walked closer to the cat and leaned down to pet it lightly. The cat pushed its head towards her hand and purred, then leaped away and carefully dropped the necklace in front of her. She hesitated before grabbing the necklace, tilting her head a bit at it’s sight. The necklace looked unordinary, with a weird looking gem. When she grabbed it, it started glowing a light yellow. She yelped in surprise and immediately got up. The cat looked at her with his big ember eyes, swaying its tail peacefully. Once P

Once Parker put the necklace around her neck, her eyes glowed and her hands flickered with fire before she blacked out. She woke up later next to Ethan. The cat disappeared and Ethan was staring at her, slightly annoyed. Her eyes widened and she immediately got up, asking him why he was here. He told her that he always went to this forest after school and pointed out the new necklace she was wearing, telling her that it was no ordinary necklace. He talked to her all about where the necklace came from, who was that cat and why the cat chose her. That jewelry was an ancient necklace that brought anormal and great power to the wearer, in which it was passed down from generations by that cat. It appeared that the power that Parker got was fire manipulation. She can stop any type of fire from spreading, even if the fire didn’t originally come from her, she can make fire appear right before her hands out of thin air, and last but not least, she can’t be burned. Though all of this works only when she’s wearing

the necklace, and every time she used its power, her eyes would glow a bright yellow. Ethan knew all of that because his great grand-mother was once a wearer of the same necklace. Ever since that day, they agreed to make peace and Ethan helped her control her new ability. In the end, they became best friends and Parker made Ethan meet Zoey. Tho not all stories have a good ending, and not all stories necessarily end. Parker ended up catching feelings for Ethan, while Ethan caught feelings for Zoey, Parker’s best friend… There also appeared to be great danger coming soon, for the necklace only appears when needed in critical situations.
