Ok so I scrapped my old book Idea (kinda) and this plot came to me in my dream (yes finally)

They met at a mall where Carmen kicked his ass, and threw his movie popcorn at him because he said something I don't remember what. and she went to go play at an arcade, he approached her and they talked and the matter of him needing to marry someone came up.

Then the matter of Carmen wanting to leave her home and run away came up.

he said something like "HA I'd marry you but I don't think you could be stoic and cold 24/6" (he underestimated her. And she said something like my acting is actually pretty ****in good. So he held out his arm for her and said then I think both our problems are solved (or something like that) let's go.

they came across a place selling rings (I think Target) and she picked a ring with her eyes closed. and boom now their engaged for convince
