Last year it took me almost the whole year to ask my teachers to call me by my preferred name t the time,,i was so scared too it that during the last few months or even the last month of school I finally did it, through a email nonetheless but I still did it,,now look at me, start of the year I tell everyone my name is Austin, when I met new people I’d say my name was Austin and my pronouns where they/them, like “hey my name is Austin, my pronouns are they/them, what are yours?” I’d hold out my hand and everything like a proper greeting, that’s kinda how I made friends, this year, they didn’t have to hide like most ppl do, henejemsjmwjwm I’ve come a long way and I’m proud of it,,took a lot of courage heheheh,,

I’ve done it face to face, no email, no fear, like it was normal, and it is. I’m proud of myself hehehehehe
