I made the sketch for this meme around the time when my grandpa, J, died. I was having a really hard time dealing with his death, so i expressed my feelings in the way I have for years, through art.

The pills represents the new focus medicine that I had to take when I first discovered my adhd, and the phone that says “J, 0 notifications” shows when he always used to text me something like ily or have a good day tmrw before I went to bed, and when that all of a sudden stopped it just took something away from me that I had appreciated so much.

I was literally heartbroken, as shown in the meme. And when this shows my heart oozing black blood, that shows how I had overcome the obstacles of his death but from a very literal standpoint (I also kinda wanted to draw some teeth and wings hashbbwibiqbv)
