Huh interesting to have a themed collection mine is pretty much random

When I'm buying vinyl I prioritize records which aren't on streaming (even bigger bonus if it isn't on the internet at all) because I sort of feel like I'm doing my part to preserve the music you know?

After that I go for records that mean something to me and after that I just go for jazz by my favorite players and classical by my favorite composers

Also sounds like a fun tactic, i can imagine that it's really cool once it gets put together

I feel like at some point it would be fun to have a semi-complete catalog for each of the jazz greats duke ellington, John Coltrane, sonny Rollins, Charles Mingus, ect but unfortunately I do not have infinite money
