-after a bit she glanced up, seeing someone she didn’t recognize made her head tilt slightly, it seemed she was looking in at a cake through a window, her ears perked slightly- ah, hello

-she blinked a bit, taking the man as very bold, either that or just stupid, her tail swayed at her side and she had a firm hold on a cane that rested beside her- well that depends, who are you-?

-after a moment she held out a paw to shake, nodding slightly- corey Accardo, nicknames sweetheart, but corey works just fine, you new here?

-her brows raised, she almost laughed when he did that, but it brought an amused smile to her face- what’s that? I’m not good enough to touch your hand? -she snorted- just don’t offer a handshake next time

-her amused smile was quick to fade, it changed to stone cold in the blink of an eye, her voice lowered slightly, and her grip on her cane tightened- bold words from a boy who dosent know what he’s messing with, I should have my men make quick work of you right here and now

-her brows raised and her eyes narrowed- oh that does it -she reached out and grabbed him by the vest, tossing him backwards, she was rather strong but he didn’t go far, she growled as she lifted her cane and stepped closer, one of her men set a hand on her shoulder, he spoke- don’t worry about it boss, I’m sure he’s just a nobody just trying to tick you off -after a few moments she nodded slowly, rubbing her temples- right right- -she looked back to him- it’s best you leave me be-

-she sneered at him, turning her back to him as she went back to looking at the cakes- as if I’d tell you, you made a pretty horrid first impression

-her ears raised at that, she glanced back over to him, she figured she had the money herself to buy it, but she would never turn down a free cake, she nodded slowly and sighed- fine fine, well uh, I’ve been running this town for the better part of eight years -she hummed as she looked at the cake again- will be nine years soon

(PFFT -she pointed up the street to where a very big, very bright casino was, she nodded a bit at it and almost smiled- my pride and joy, got that at fifteen

-she snickered a bit and nodded- yessir, walked in there and shot the last boss right between the eyes -she grinned- and all the men just! Started doing as I said! -she smiled softly, as if it were a fond memory of hers-

(I’m dead 😂😂 -she took notice of this and grinned over at him- oh I sure do hope that doses scare you off, I’m a nice girl really -she chuckled, but it wasn’t very genuine-

-she smiled gently and went to pat his shoulder, but stopped as she remembered he thought she was dirty, so she figured not to touch him- an ally? And what could you possibly bring to my table?

-she paused, her ears raised and she looked over to him- you know kai? I know him, a bit, he tried to get me to kill his dad for him, he didn’t have the money so I didn’t do it

-she shook her head- I don’t think so, either way I decided I shouldn’t really involve myself in family affairs

-she nodded slowly and looked back in the window at the cake, after a moment she smiled- I’ll take that cake now, unless there’s anything else you want to know, but I’m headed home soon -with that she nodded at the guards who were near her, signaling that they could go home, they all nodded back and started their seperate ways-

-she hummed and stepped in with a smile- do you fancy sweet stuff? I personally couldn’t go without sugar, it’s all I ever eat really

-she chuckled and went up to the register, just ordering two slices of cake with a smile, she turned back to him- well I’m glad you like it at least

-after a bit they got the cake, she handed one to him and with a smile went to sit down at a table- so, tell me a bit about yourself

-her eyes lit up as if she was talking to a completely different person, she looked back up to him with a wide smile- really?! Me too!! Wowie! How long have you been one?

-she nodded quickly- ah I’m a bit older than you, I died somewhere around 1930, can’t exactly remember when but I know it was around there -she chuckled happily as she ate-

-she snickered a bit, she seemed to treat him with much more respect and admiration now that she knew he was one of them, her tail swayed happily as she continued to eat-

-she thought for a moment before laughing a bit- let’s just say I’ve got friends in high places, I play nice when I have to, but to be honest, the don’t check in on me all that much

-her brows raised a bit- you get in trouble with them often? -she smiled a bit- I could help you out with that a bit

-she stared at him for a few moments- ah, do you have a mission you were sent down to do?

-she shrugged slightly- I suppose passing it on to anyone still counts right? -she hummed a bit as she finished eating-

-she chuckled a bit, then after a few moments she stood up with a sigh- well anyway, I should probably head home, you staying around here?

-she nodded again and sighed- good good, there shouldn’t be any trouble for you here, I tend to keep it pretty peaceful here

-she chuckled a bit, she didn’t know what he meant but she figured that was a good thing, she started for the door, humming a bit-

-she tapped her chin- where I stay is one of the most upscale ones around -she looked over to him and sighed- other then that there are some ones on the other side of town, a bit run down but they work

-she nodded again- no problem, it’s nice to see another one of us around, makes me feel like I ain’t such a Delinquent after all

-her ears lowered like a cat would while getting pet, she had to physically stop herself from purring, she chuckled a bit and nodded- yeah yeah

-she found it increasingly difficult not to purr, she was almost about to, but put her hand over her mouth for a few moments, before changing it to a laugh- o-oh well- I-I suppose I can be

-after a few seconds she started to purr, not able to hold herself back anymore, her tail swished happily as her face tinted pink- a-ah well, s-some do and some d-don’t

-she nodded slowly and laughed a bit, continuing to purr- I-I suppose so

-she whimpered slightly, but figured she should get ahold of herself, she laughed softly- heh, why’s that?

-her face reddened a bit and her arms folded over her chest- ha! Oh please

-she blinked a bit and fakley huffed- oh hush! -she started walking closer to some fancy looking apartments-

-she couldn’t make eye contact with him now, she walked a bit faster, her face was now pink- oh would you look at the time!

-her eyes widened and her face got much more red, she turned to face him- y-you can’t do that!

-she huffed slightly, very clearly flustered, after a few minutes she made it to an apartment, she started fishing around in her pockets for the keys-

-she thought for a moment, thinking she could lie to him, but after another moment she sighed and shook her head- down the hall on the right

-her eyes rolled and she laughed and went in her apartment- -in the other room was an elderly man, just reading a newspaper, he looked up to him and sighed- hello, need a room?

-after a bit he nodded, naming the price and handing him a pair of keys with a soft smile- enjoy, it just so happens it’s the one next to that address

-he waved at him as he left- -corey was in her room, sighing as she hung up her coat on the coat rack-

-she glanced over at the door and stood up, starting over to the door before opening it-

She fell over on her side, falling asleep. She was exhausted from staying up extremely late the night before.

She jolted awake and let out a screech. She grabbed a tree-branch and swung at his face. "Don't touch me!" Her southern accent was thick as it always became when she got scared.

She scrambled away from him, shaking. "What makes you think you can sneak up on me like that while I'm asleep?!" She held the branch still, ready to swat at him.

She huffed, letting the branch fall to her side. "Force of habit!"

She raised it again. "Saying not to makes me want to."

She growled. "Aye!" She tried to pry it out of his hands.

She stood up and ran to get the stick back. Once she had it, she walked back over to him and bashed him over the head with it. "Don't call me dumb, you asshole!"

She jumped up, trying to reach him. "You started it by calling me a dumb kid."

She hissed and gave up. "And it's true that you're an asshole." She huffed, leaning against the tree trunk.

She rolled her eyes and laid down. "Wasn't exactly a compliment, but whatever you want to take it as."

She swatted at it, unamused. "Screw off-"

She sat up and grabbed it. "Leave me alone!" She yanked on it, hoping it'd possibly hurt him.

She smiled and laid back down, satisfied. "You gonna quit smacking me with your damn tail now?"

She glared at him. "Then don't smack me with it."

She lifted the stick. "Then I'll beat your wings with this."

She leaned against the tree, smiling at him. "I suggest you don't hit me with them, then."

She raised a brow. "What's stupid?"

She looked insulted. "Shut up!" She crossed her arms.

She punched his shoulder. "If I'm stupid, then so are you."

She growled. "For a girl? For a girl?! You really deserved that punch, old man."

She glared at him, obviously pissed off. "I guess I'm not like most girls, now am I?"

She kicked his shin as hard as she could. "Asshole!" she hissed.

She rolled her eyes. "And you call me weak-" She grabbed his arm and pulled him to his feet.

She propped him up against the tree. "You're ancient," she joked.

She laughed, shaking her head. "Nope, grandpa." She played with the tag on her ear.

She grinned, enjoying his embarrassment. "Grandpa-"

Her smile only grew. "Make me."

She froze momentarily at the sight of the wings, then grabbed the stick again. She swung at them.

She pounced onto his back and hit him on the head with the stick.

She let go of him and got up. "That's what you get-"

She looked down at the ground, feeling slightly guilty. "Sorry."

She growled, swatting at his hand. "I'm not all that much younger than you-"

She huffed and turned away from him. "Twenty-nine. And don't call me sweetheart!"

She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, if you ****ed at like fifteen or sixteen."

She blinked. "I don't need to know that- I could've gone my whole life without knowing that and been fine-"

She stared at him, confused. "How am I better knowing that you ****ed at sixteen-?"

She blushed a dark red. "You- I- What-" She covered her face.

She let out a quiet high-pitched squeal. "Don't call me babe!" she squeaked.

She raised her hand to slap him but stopped herself, slightly enjoying it. "I hate you-"

She flinched, not knowing whether she wanted him to stop or continue.

She bit her lip. "If you're going to keep this up, can you at least tell me your name?"

She smiled. "Zyla."

Her blush came flooding back and she quickly nodded. "Maybe-"

She held him tightly to her, running her fingers though his hair.

Her heart pounded in her chest, not knowing how to feel. What she did know was that she was definitely enjoying it.

She trembled and glanced around, remembering they were outside in a public place. "Maybe we should go somewhere a bit more private-?" she suggested.

She thought for a second. "Do you live anywhere near here?"

She had to run in order to keep up with him.

She smiled at him gratefully and leaned against his arm.

She wagged her small tail excitedly, looking at the house's exterior. She was slightly intimidated by how big it was.

She looked around, amazed at how big it was. She felt slightly in such a large house since she lived in a small cabin in the woods.

She slowly nodded, still in shock. (Slightly uncomfortable* Why did autocorrect DELETE a word-)
